Missing

Becky's POV

I snapped my eyes open. I turned and saw Michel lying naked beside me.

I took a sheet and wrapped around my body. Then I slipped to the bathroom and got in the shower.

After a long shower, I got out and dressed.

I woke Micheal up and he went to the bathroom.

They morning schedule repeated and it was 10 o clock and I was sitting alone in the balcony.

I got up and went indoors. Micheal and my clothes from last night were lying in the corner.

I picked them up and out them in the laundry basket.

When I came out, I saw a card lying on the floor.

I picked it up.

"Courtyard Marriot" it said. The address where Derek was staying.

I kept the card in my pocket and went downstairs.

I passed time, played with Ben, roamed in the garden, then it was time to pick Mini from the school.

I got ready and reached the school.

"She left? What do you mean she left?" I shouted at the teacher.

"Her father came to pick her up. She went home." She said.

Mike would have told me if he was picking her up.

"When did she leave?" I asked.

"Like 10 minutes ago" she said.

I got back in the car and rushed home.

"Anna... Anna" I called.

She came out with Ben in her arms.

"Anna, is Mini home?" I asked.

"No" she said.

I called Mike and asked him if he picked Mini up.

"No Becky, I am at the office. I thought you were going to pick her up." He said.

"I went to school but they said she left already."

I began to tear up. Where was my little daughter?

"Beck, call the police. I am coming home." He hung up.

Micheal's POV

I rushed home. Becky was sitting on the sofa.

She was crying and a lady police officer was calming her down. There were at least 15 policemen all around the house.

The person in charge of the investigation came up to me.

"Where is my daughter?" I asked him.

"Sir, we are trying our best." He said.

"I don't want to hear anything. I want my daughter back." I shouted at him and went to console Becky.

"He took her Mike. Derek took her." She said.

"Beck, calm down. The police are looking into the matter. Mini will be back soon" I said hugging her.

I walked up to the head police officer and apologized for shouting on him. I asked him what the progress was.

"We are tapping the phones, in case a ransom call pops up." He said.

"What if this wasn't for money, what if this was for a revenge?" I asked.

"In any case, we will get a call. When we do, we will trace the location." He explained.

I nodded and went back to Becky.
