Then the door behind Sanders opened and he had a gun pointed at his head.

"Drop the gun" said Micheal.

Sanders did as said.

Armed men rushed in and captured his goons.

They took Sanders and handcuffed him.

I grabbed Mini and ran to Micheal.

I hugged him tight. I never want to let him go.

He looked at me and kissed me. "Don't ever leave me like that" he whispered.

When we opened our eyes to look around, we could see Derek.

We rushed downstairs and saw him moving to his car.

He was limping.

I looked at Micheal and he rushed to him.

Micheal's POV

I rushed to Derek and stopped him. He turned and I looked at him.

His jaw was broken and his face was bleeding.

I had no words.

I hugged him. He saved my family.

"Thank you"

He ran a back on my back. "You can always count on me" he said.

Then we parted.

I really had tears in my eyes. I never expect this to happen.

"Can we forget about the past and start fresh?" I asked.

"If it was up to me, I would have done it years ago" he said smiling.

I smiled too.

Becky joined us.

"Mini, meet uncle Derek." I said.

She was scared at first but then went to his arms.

"We have to get you to a hospital" said Becky and we got in the car.
