Becky's POV

After Micheal went to sleep, I put both the kids to bed.

Then tiptoed to my room and slipped under the covers, trying not to disturb him.

I wondered what was wrong with him.

Firstly, he calls me and says not to go to the office and then, he comes home late, drunk, wet and with a mild fever.

Was he cheating on me?
Of course not. He would never do that.

Then what?

He has never acted in such a way.

May be because of work load.

I clinged to his back and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

Next morning, when the alarms went, I got up and turned off the alarms.
It was 6:30 in the morning and I wondered whether to wake Mike.

I put my palm on his forehead and found that his fever was gone.

I pecked his cheek and turned to get down that he grabbed my wrist.

I looked at him and smiled.

"Morning Love" he said is his morning...baby voice.

"Morning sweet heart" I said and went in his arms.

"Are you going to work today?" I asked as he tightened his grip around me.

"Have to" he answered.

"You still look tired" I said.

"I will be fine." he said.

"No, you will go but only after 12. Till then, stay home and rest and that is my final verdict. I'll go there, anyways I still have to talk to Cassie" I said.

"As you say ma'am" he answered and kissed me.

"Stay here" I said and went out.

I called Anna early that day and asked her to get Mini ready for school meanwhile I prepared the breakfast.

Once it was set, I took it upstairs and found Mike typing on the laptop.

"Hello. By not going to work I also mean not exchanging mails" I said and took away the laptop.

"What is this?" he asked.

"Breakfast in bed." I said and placed the plate in front of him.

We had our breakfast and then it was time to leave.

Mike went back to sleep.

I cleared the mess and took a bath.

When I was ready, I went to look for Mini.

She was dressed, her bag was packed and she was eating her breakfast.

Soon, we left the house.

I dropped Mini at the school and then went to work.

I took the elevator and then walked to Mike's cabin.

On my way, I saw Rick sitting in his room.

I went to him and said "Hey Rick. What are you doing?"

"Hmm... nothing just going through files. How are you Becky? Didn't see you yesterday." he said.

"Got a lot of work at home. Busy with kids." I said.

"It is a difficult task indeed." he said.

"Yeah! Okay so I will see you later." I said and entered the cabin.
