Becky's POV

I finished the work for the day at the office, cleaning up my desk etc. and returned home.

Since I knew that I was going to be late, I called Anna and asked her to pick Mini from the school.

As soon I entered, Mini jumped on me.

"Easy girl. Let momma catch a breath" I said and ran a hand on her back before keeping her down.

Anna emerged with Ben.

It was one o clock.

"She didn't touch her food. Was asking when were you going to come." she said.

"Oh is it? Let me get change first." I said and went to my room.

Anna took Ben to his room. He was about to fall asleep.
Mini ran around the halls.

I quickly got into a loose top and a grey track pant.

Mini and I had our lunch and then I put her to bed before going to sleep myself.

It was 6 o clock when I woke up.

Checked on kids. Mini was doing her homework with Anna and Ben was getting bored.

"I'll take him outside to get some fresh air" I said and went back to my room.

I washed my face and wore a white floral pattern one pieces with flat black coloured slippers.

Then I went to Ben.

Anna dressed him in a white t shirt and blue jumper with black sandals.

I took him and went downstairs.

We got out of the house and I glanced at the cloudy, blue sky.

I carried him down the porch and then proceeded to the big garden behind the house.

Near the corner was the kids playing area.

I walked to it and placed Ben down.

He got into his own feet and disappeared somewhere into a tent nearby.

Then I heard a squeaking noise.

But she was...

I turned around and found a guy sitting on the swing. With his back facing me.
He was wearing a black coat suit.

Who was he?
What was he doing here?

I walked to him and I guess he heard the rustling of grass.

"Lovely day. Isn't it?" he asked.

"Who are you?" I asked still walking to him.

"Find it yourself. Love" he said.

LOVE! Who was he?

As he stood in front of me, I couldn't believe what I saw.

"You?" I asked in shock.

"Yeah it's me" smiled Derek.

I went to a state of trauma for a second.
I placed a hand on my head and was about to fall.

Derek armed my waist and caught me

He said "Easy girl. Not so fast. Your hubby is not going to like me carrying you indoors."

I quickly moved away and said "What is it that you want?"

"You" he said.

"Me? You are joking right?"

"100%" he smiled and said.

"How did you get in?" I asked.

"I have my ways." he said.

He hadn't change. Not at all. He still had that player's physic. Strong body, sexy looks and the special charm.

"Get out now. I must insist" I said in a bold voice.

"But I just got in" he said.

"I will call the guards. I said get out." I shouted this time.

I looked around but the guards were too far away to hear anything.

I also kept my phone indoors.

"Shhh.....don't shout" he said.

"I will call..." I took my phone but Derek took out something else, before me.

I stared at the gun pointing straight at my forehead.

"Or it will look better on him" he said and turned the nozzle towards Ben, who was sitting on the grass, playing with some toys he got from inside the baby tent.

A tear ran down my cheek.

I put down his hand and said "We can talk"

Derek smiled and said "You really thought I would shoot him. Sure, I don't like him, he reminds me of the man who took you from me. Honey look at me. Do I look like a murderer?"

I didn't reply.

Derek pulled down his coat and said "What? Aren't you going to take your Derek indoors?"

"Yeah why not. And not my Derek." I said and went to Ben.
I carried him and started walking towards the house building.

Derek was right behind me.
What were his eyes on?

Was he staring at my ass? Or my waist?
It had grown a bit since I last met him.
Which was more than a decade ago.

How am I going to get away with this without Mike knowing about it?
