This is all of the info that'll you'll want to know if you're here for the story and not just the feely good stuff that may or may not be written. Also by the way a lot of this character is based on me so sorry if there are some more self-indulgent chapters here and there. And this also helps me keep track of all of the lore I personally have put together so yea have fun.

-Occurs around 1970's-1980's
-Game is a dramatization, therefore isn't completely canon (and isn't in this fanfic)
-When first hired, the mercs were separate, and the mercs we know we're split between who hired them
-BLU hired spy, medic, demo, and engineer
-RED hired sniper, scout, soldier, heavy, and pyro
-They fought and stole Intel from the opposite sides, but eventually did so more rarely when they ended up talking more (specifically demo and soldier)
-Miss Pauling and the Administrator made sure that the mercs weren't allowed to let the RED and BLU brothers know of their "alliance"
-The two sides still fought, but never to the extent of allowing the opposing side to get anyone killed
-Respawn and cloning isn't a thing, but medic can bring people back to life with extensive surgery as shown in one of the storyline comics
-Everything within the storyline comics happened, and at the time of this book a year or two has passed since the end of the comics
-What has happened since the last comic (since it hasn't been updated) in this canon is that the Administrator has died and passed on her work to Miss Pauling
-Miss Pauling still has need for the mercs and keeps communication
***In this canon Miss Pauling still deals with murder for Intel and sometimes for the merc's case money ***
-So essentially BLU and RED team no longer exists, but since in the comics they're all wearing red they'll continue to wear red
