We went back to Canada and things went normal again. I never told Margaret that I saw Allie there. Actually, I never told her anything about her.
Since I saw Allison, I got confused about my feelings for Margaret. A part of me says that I miss Allie but a part of me tells me that I am with Margaret and besides, Allie is now a Woodlawn.
I called Marco and asked him if I could have a sleepover in his place because I want to talk about Allison. A night with beer will do. He told me that it's fine.
Romeo and I bought beers in Walmart while Marco stayed at home.
It's already late when Marco and I started to drink while Romeo stayed upstairs to read a story book for Chesca.
"I saw Allie when I was in the Philippines." I said
"and I think, I'm confused of what I feel. I felt butterflies in my stomach when I saw her. I can't even sleep properly that night. I know that this is wrong and she's already married but I think it's unfair to be with Margaret while I am still thinking about Allie." I added
"I think. I should tell you something that you must not know." Marco said
"What is it?" I asked
"I was with Allie a day after your birthday and I promised her not to tell you. She came here because she's hurting and I don't think that she's married. I haven't seen any ring, Jackie. I think she went here for you." He answered
