Vanilla

When Leigh claimed my lips after the announcement that we are finally and officially married, I can't help but to fall for her again and again.

Hah! Ganito lang pala ang magpapalambot kay Leigh e.

All this time, I know how much she hated unnecessary display of luxury. She hates bragging things lalo pa at nakatatak na yun sa kanya. But, we deserve this right? It's a privilege. Might as well use it. Minsan lang naman.

"I love you, Vanilla."

Napangiti naman ako. She said it countless times pero yung magic sa tuwing sinasabi nya iyong mga salitang iyon sa akin ay ganun pa din. Para bang mas lalo pa ngang nagiging sweet iyon kesa nababawasan.

Inangat pa nito yung kamay nito at pinakita sakin yung wedding rings namin. It's so pretty on her.

"I was about to surprise you too. Mukhang naagawan ako ng spotlight. I prepared rings too. Siguro itatabi ko na 'to."

"Talaga? Yayayain mo din sana ako magpakasal?"

"Yep. Of course. I'm dying to tie the knots with you too. Mamaya topakin ka na naman e. Tapos kung kanino ka na naman mapunta."

"Tinotopak lang ako pero hindi na ako ganoon ka-immature no. Of course I know that you'll get hurt too pag may ginawa akong ganoon. Carmi is enough lesson for us. Let's visit her Leigh ha? Pag ready ka na."

Tumango naman si Leigh. This time mukhang hindi na ito ganoon naiinis pag nababanggit si Carmi.

I just have to wait for her to heal too. I've caused her a cut. Hope time could heal that cuts.

"Paano mo pala naconvince yung mga iyan para tulungan ka? Your convincing powers are becoming threatening nowadays. Kabahan na ba ako dapat?"

Itinuro pa ni Leigh yung mga kaibigan namin na nakakalat sa upper deck at nagrupo grupo as they were all getting themselves drunk.

Si Hariette nga inaasar pa ni Grant na hahalikan daw nito pag tumalon sa dagat ngayon. Si Alliston tuloy yung iritang-irita sa kalandian nya at gusto na syang ibato sa dagat para tigilan yung kalandian nito kay Hariette. These three are really something. Nacu-curious tuloy ako sa secret na sinasabi ni Leigh about Grant.

"It takes only my innocence to convince them, Leigh. Pag ikaw na yung gumawa, iba yung approach nila sayo syempre."

"Nag-alay ka na naman siguro no?"

"Of course not. Si Terry lang binibigyan ko ng alay no. Mukha kasi syang santo. Wag ka maingay. Baka magalit si Samantha."

I earned another chuckle from Leigh, my wife.

"But believe me, you and Terry are perfectly fit to become bestfriends. She surely knock some sense in your head no?"

Natatawang napakamot ako sa pisngi ko. Ang lakas kasi mangunsensya ni Terry. Medyo tinamaan ako sa lahat ng pinagsasabi nya. Kaya ayan. Buti na lang our friends are filthy-rich kids too. Ang bilis umaksyon.

Grant helped me with a yacht. Si Samantha naman doon sa mga flowers. Si Railey doon sa plane na magbabagsak ng rose petals. While si Hariette at Jen yung nagsundo sa parents namin ni Leigh. Aria, Corinne, and Terry arranged the reception and the food catering.

Tapos si Alliston doon sa fireworks display. Yung rings naman nanggaling sa parents ko. They were super supportive when I told them that I'm proposing to Leigh.

Apparently, matagal na pala napag-uusapan nila Daddy at Leigh's Dad yung saming dalawa. They were long expecting that we'll end up together. Weird, I am not showing any signs before that I'm into dating girls. Lalo na si Leigh. Wala naman instance na nagka girlfriend ito. Ganon ba talaga kami ka-transparent ni Leigh eversince?
