Naia's POV
The halloween party is the highlight of the month. This one is the anticipated event bukod sa ball ng Senior high. They are more strict with the security dahil bilang ang estudyanteng may mga ticket.
No ticket, no entry. Plus sa official enrollees na nakalista lang sila nagbigay.
Hindi dapat ito ang costume ko. I prefer Mulan's but they are out of stock. I have to make do with what I have.

Dad made sure I got there safe. Bumili siya ng ticket para sa isang bodyguard. Kasama ko ito sa loob ng venue though he mingles with the crowd.
"Pinanindigan mo talaga ang pagiging Artemis mo." My cousin looks greecian with her costume.
"Idea ni Mama. And you are?" she pointed, preening at my clothed .
"Eris, greek goddess of chaos." The golden apple swings in my wrist ng yumuko ako.
Somebody—Genevive—become mischievous, she played with Artemis' bow and arrow. Tinamaan niya ang isang estudyante. Nagiwas siya ng tingin at tinago ang bow sa likod niya.
Pati yata ugali ni Tiffany ay hihiramin niya sa gabing ito.
Nagsimula ang awarding ng best in costume. The twins—Lindsey and Lincoln—got the second place, nanguna ang killer couple—sina Justin at Genevive—waving their bloody knife.
The slow dance started after that. Hinanap ko si Artemis pero hindi ko na siya nakita. Siguro'y sinayaw ng isang senior na may gusto sa kanya.
An arm snaked on my waist pulling me to him. He found me in the crowd.
Pinaharap niya ako sa kanya pressing his forehead on mine. Isang pamaypay ang humarang sa mga mukha namin.

We both faked a cough para iwasan ang pagtawa. The costume fits her. She looks like one dahil sa ilong niya at nunal sa tabi nito.
"You look gorgeous." he is calm as always. Nilagay niya ang kamay ko sa balikat niya.
"Thank you handsome." I smiled.
The memories with him sa Cafe Soleil flash on my mind. Tulad ng video na kusang nagplay.
"Will you forgive me if I betray you?" My lips are shaking when I ask him.
"Of course." walang alinlangan niyang sagot. Taking my hand across the table.
"Here." iniabot ako ang isang diary. "Give this to my cousin but not today."
"For what?" naguguluhan siya but still kept it for me.
"You'll know." I smiled half genuine."I trust that you will keep it for me."
"Isabel..." concern and worry was laced on his voice "may hindi ka ba sinasabi sa akin?"
After that question I told him about it. He is a good listener. May mga bagay akong hindi maamin sa mga magulang ko, kay Artemis who's close as a sibling. He is the air I breath when I slowly sink.
I sighed. He leaned closer to me making me hug him. I inhale his scent. Tulad ng ginagawa ko.
"Let's enjoy the night shall we?" alo niya sa akin.
"Thank you..." I told him as gentle as I can "for saving me before I drown."
"I will keep doing it over and over again" his voice sincere and slow "para hindi ka mawala sa akin."
"I love you." I hugged him tighter.
"I love you... So much." he whispered on my ears.
He is too pure while I am tainted with darkness. I wish that time would stop for the both of us. My time is slipping fast. What will tomorrow bring to me?
Nagpaalam kami sa isa't-isa. Dumikit agad sa akin ang body guard pagkalabas ko ng pinto. Nakadikit din ang mga mata niya sa likod ko not until we reach the car.

"May problema po ba?" tanong ng bodyguard na nakacowboy costume.

2 minutes until midnight. Hinihintay ko ang pagdating niya.
Nagulat ako sa biglang pagtalon niya sa veranda. Putting his finger on his lips. I giggled at the bodyguard's action. Nangangamot ng batok itong bumalik sa pwesto niya.
"Do you always do that?" I forgot na may iniiwang gising na bodyguard sila Daddy.
"Nope." pinakita niya sa akin ang isang basket na my wine at dalawang baso.
Nilatag ko ang isang kumot sa veranda at kinuha ang unan sa kama ko. We watch the moon and the stars above our heads. The wine didn't make us drank, it is non-alcoholic.
"There's Polaris. The north star." turo ko sa pinakamaliwanag na bituin.
Nakahiga ako sa hita niya. Stargazing.
"You are my north star." his eyes locked on mine.
"So are you." I remind him.
He kissed me slowly. Dinala niya ako sa kwarto deepening the kiss.
"If only I could get you pregnant para wala na silang magagawa." he said out of the blue. Stopping the

"Someone taught me well" he quipped.
"Sino naman?" I squinted my eyes at him.
"Her naughty words..." he answered seriously "...got stuck on my head. She taught me how to kiss... Properly"
Nagtaas ang kilay ko sa kanya. So may iba siya? Hindi lang ako. I should have known. Sa bagay reaper siya ay madami ng nakilala.
"I want to meet her then." humalukipkip ako at hinarap siya. Pinapainit niya ang ulo ko.
"Okay." sabi na nga ba eh.
Tatayo na ako ng hilahin niya ako. Napaupo ako sa kama.
"She's in front of me." hinawakan niya ang baba ko so I can see his eyes.
It so serious.
I close my eyes when his lips crash on mine. Butterflies dance on my stomach, his kiss made me drunk. I give him access to my neck and jaw.
I will let him be my first love, first kiss, my first everything. If fate allows us, to bear his first child. Our child.
