Artemis' POV
Pagkagising ko ay nakita ko ang agahan sa bedside table. I doubt walang lason yan. He never returned in the room except for the maids who keep on feeding me.
An unexpected visitor entered the room "The princess is awake already." mocking me with laughter.
"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" I glared at her. I can see Tita hysterical and angry already.
"Dito ako nakatira, pamamahay ko ito." kaya pala puro demonyo ang nakatira.
"Obviously." I spit the words. Her eyes narrow holding my jaw. Hindi nga pala ako nakatali kaya nasampal ko siya. Bitch.
Salo niya ang pisngi niyang tumingin sa akin. You have my cousins face but that won't stop me. Matagal-tagal ko ng gustong gawin sa kanya iyan. Simula ng malaman kong hindi si Naia ang kaharap ko.
"Try me. My hands are free gusto mo sa kabila?" paghahamon ko. "Pwede din kitang patayin ngayon din."
"You'll pay for this bitch!" padabog niyang sinarado ang pinto. I sighed. When will this end?
Bakit nga ba hindi ko pa siya pinatay agad?

With the back door open we ran kahit pagod na. May van sa likod ng bahay dahil walang gate we escaped easily. Nasa loob ba din si Jared.
"Why didn't I see the family?" tanong ko.
"Sleeping pills. Their food has it." Jared answered smoothly before scooping me in his arms kissing me.
"Lovebirds we are not done yet." Lincoln warned looking at the rear view mirror. May mga tauhan pa sa unahan ng van. He did not think twice before speeding up.
We reach the headquarters Justin running to us. Yayakapin sana ako pero hinarang ni Jared ang katwan niya.
"Psh. Yayakap lang ih." reklamo nito.
"Magbihis ka muna. We'll talk." Kuya removed his bloodied clothes while I proceed in the room.
Pagkatpos magbihis ay pumunta kami sa library. The four of them complete.
Jared claimed the long couch the only available seat.
"What happened to Mama?" I sipped the juice on the table.
"She's safe." Kuya answered. I can smell shampoo and soap on him.
"Artemis." Lincoln calling my attention "She ask me to give you this." Naia's diary.
"For what?" confusion written on my face.
"I don't know. Open it."He shrugged.
I flipped the pages. The last entry made me teary eyed.

Artemis,
If you are reading this she has already controlled my body. I already knew this time would come. I don't want to count the days so I smiled through the suffering. Me returning is staged a plan to distract you while they execute the plans. Please tell Lincoln I love him with all of me. I am tainted yet he choose to stay with me.
I didn't return Eris did. Revenge is all she wants.
Please take care of him when I am gone. I entrust him to you like I entrust my heart to him. I apologize for lying and betraying you. Tell Mom and Dad I love them both take care of them for me.

Naguguluhan siyang tumingin sa akin. Kung kanina'y seryoso siya ngayon ay halos malukot ang mukha nito. Hindi niya maipinta ang emosyong mararamdaman. Agad niyang kinuha ang cellphone at naghalungkat dito.
I can hear her voice. The one my cousin uses kapag naglalambing.
"Hey handsome, If you are watching this you probably read my letter. I'm sorry kung hindi ako nakapagpaalam. All the while when I'm with you I wish to stop the time." tears springing from his eyes "I love you my Polaris. Be safe always. Don't make me worry about you. Find the girl who deserves you. A pure hearted gentleman. You deserve all her love. Smile for me always. I LOVE YOU!" we heard a kissing sound on the background.
Hindi siya makapaniwal sa nakita. His last piece of my cousin bago ito hindi magpakita. How will I break the news to them.
Humihikbi akong niyakap ni Jared. Lincoln storm out of the room to who knows where. Can't we save her anymore? The pain is unbearable already.
