CHAPTER 64: Polaris

Artemis' POV

We stand back to back. Facing three enemies will not be easy but we trained for this. We should trust each other.

My eyes started glowing nang magdikit kami. The silver moon illuminating where we stand. I felt stronger all of a sudden.

We exchange blows and outmanoeuvred every move. I kicked them in their vitals areas.

"Is he your father?" hindi ko naiwasang itanong.

"Yes" hinihingal niyang sagot "he should be dead years ago." some of their men attack us but I ducked while Jared attacks.

"Dead?" naguguluhan kong tanong nag may siniko ako sa mukha at sinaksak.

A sudden howl stopped us. Dan in his wolf form emerged from the trees. Some dead wolves lay on the ground. Siya yata ang may gawa nito.

I changed my form to wolf. I saw my brother's form coming up to me. Eris joined his son on the same form.

We exchange angry growls.

All hell broke lose. Nagkagatan kami. Minsan kong inihagis si Eris sa isang puno. My cousin cannot even kill an ant but she tainted that image of her.

May kumagat sa paa ko sa likod. Bumaon ang isang dagger sa mata niya. Lincoln hit a bullseye.

I tear the wolf's flesh bago humarap kay Eris. I bite her front foot dragging her into the clearing. She whimpered in pain. Tumayo ito tackling me to a nearby tree. The trees shook birds flew from it.

We circled each other. Walang nakikialam. Blood for blood. A life for a life. I'm sorry Tita Asther hindi niyo makikilala si Naia pagkatapos nito.

My parents shift in their wolf form kung kanina'y tao silang nilalabanan si Damian. Ngayon isang puti at brown na Lobo ang kaharap nila.
Angry growls came from everywhere.

"Artemis." Justin called but is soon hurtled to a tree. Hinagis siya ni Eris.
I shift to my human form saka siya pinuntahan. He is lying unconciously. Dumugugo ang noo nito.

Damn bitch!

She changed to her human form. I run towards her ani mo'y wala sa sarili. The attacks and blows are heavier. I can't seem to control myself.

Isang tauhan niya ang humila sa akin. Blackspots fill my vision.

The bloodshed filled the air tulad ng panaginip ko noon. Pinilit kong tumayo. I want to save the only sister that I have. She might be a hopeless case for others but for me she's not.

"Naia Isabel!" I screamed at her.

"Boba! Hindi na siya ang may-ari ng katawang ito."  Eris retorted.

"Talaga?" Hamon ko dito "I know she's in there. Katawan niya lang ang nakontrol mo hindi ang puso niya!"

"Naia Isabel Luna!" Lincoln screamed. Not minding kung nagmumukha na siyang tanga "Naia! Magpaalam ka muna bago ka umalis!" his plea made Eris cover her ears.

She is crying kahit ayaw niya. Tears streaming down her eyes.

"You bitch!" susugod pa sana ito ng sampalin ko. Sa kabilang pisngi "Naia Isabel hear me out for fuck sake!"

Naia's POV

As I was wandering in an endless dream a voice echo in the air.

"Naia Isabel Luna!" he screamed my name "Naia! Magpaalam ka muna bago ka umalis!"

I miss him so much. Pumatak ang mga luha ko sa mata ko. Did they see the letter at yung diary?

Pwede pa kaya akong bumalik sa katawan ko?

"Naia Isabel hear me out for fuck sake!" my cousins voice ring in my ears. Her screams made me teary eyed.

That's my girl! Brave and strong.

I see a light on this endless road. I ran to it like there's no tomorrow.

"Wait for me!" sigaw ko dito. My hopes is dying but here I am waiting for theie voices to call me.

"Naia Isabel papakasalan pa kita!" He screamed so loud it echoes in here.

"Naia please comeback..." her voice breaks desperate for my return. "Do as a favor and I'll do it willingly."

Gusto ko na agad magthank you sa gagawin niya. I will turn the tide and fulfill my purpose.

Naramdaman ko ang pagdampi ni Lincoln sa labi ko. My polaris. My home. I hugged him at tinulungan akong tumayo.

"You are back" he touched my cheeks and kisses me again. Naninigurado pa yata.

"Don't leave me ever again." mahigpit niya akong niyakap.

The dead bodies and bloodshed stench in the air.

The both of us attack together. Nagulat ang ilan sa ginawa ko. They thought Eris can control me but she can't.

I changed into my wolf form Lincoln beside me we charge to a number of enemies wolf and humans. Hindi ko makilala kung sino ang reapers at hindi.

I am proud of him already. Kahit hindi niya patunayan sa akin.

We continue to attack I fling all of those that tries to hurt him as he does to me.

I see my parents fighting, Tito and Tita. Everyone. Pati si Justin ay nandito?

Wolves and reapers fight for the glory of their lives. Our lives.

I shifted back to my human form. Pick up a sword and sway it on an enemy near my Mom. She looks tired already. Nang mapatumba ito ay niyakap ko si Mommy.

"I love you Mommy!" will this be the last time I will say those words?

"Isabel!" she cried on my shoulder.

Lincoln protected us from a weapon. Mommy's smile changed to a dangerous grin so does mine.
