Crossroad Blues (5)

Dean's POV

I stood in the middle of the crossroads, placing a photo of myself in George's box of Hoodoo magic before burying it in the center, covering it with dirt with my hands.

I stood up straight and waited for the magic to happen.

"So. What brings a guy like you to a place like this?"

I turned around facing the demon who looked more pretty than I thought she was going to be.

I raised a brow at her black dress and long dark hair, she reminded me a lot of Kylie.

"You called me?" She smiled with a raised brow.

"I'm just glad it worked." I admitted.

"First time?" She asked teasingly as she walked towards me.

"You could say that." I nodded, wiping my hands on my jeans nervously.

"Oh come on now. Don't sell yourself short. I know all about you, Dean Winchester." She spoke in a seductive tone just as her dark eyes turned to red.

"So, you know who I am?" I shrugged.

"I get the newsletter." She nodded.

"Well," I grinned, "don't keep me in suspense. What have you heard?"

I was curious about why I was the big talk downstairs, wondering what was being said about me.

"Well, I heard you were handsome, but . . . you're just edible." She winked before getting serious. "What can I do for you, Dean?"

I nodded towards my car. "Maybe we should do this in my car. Nice and private."

"Sounds good to me." She smirked as we began strolling towards the Impala.

"So, I was hoping we could strike a deal." I smiled.

"That's what I do." She smirked with a nod.

"I want Evan Hudson released from his contract." I told her.

The smile did not falter from her face as she glanced at me. "Hmm. So sorry, darling. That's not negotiable."

"I'll make it worth your while." I offered with a smirk.

"Oh really?" She asked with amusement. "What are you offering?"

I looked her dead in the evil eyes and offered the only thing I knew I could. "Me."

"Well, well, well. You'd sacrifice you life for someone else's." She tsked. "Like father, like son."

I eyed her warily. She had it me right where it hurt.

"You did know about your dad's deal, right? His life for yours?" She made a pouting face. "Oh, I didn't make the deal myself, but boy I wish I had."

I gritted my teeth as I opened the passenger side door, not wanting to say what was on my mind. "After you." I let out kindly.

"Such a gentleman." She smiled, starting to get into the car, but stopping once she caught sight of the symbol sticking out from below my car. "A Devil's Trap?" She growled. "You've got to be kidding me." She shook her head angrily. "You stupid, stupid . . . I should rip you from limb to limb."

I watched as she slammed the door shut and made advances towards me until I was backed up against a wooden structure.

"Take your best shot." I spoke sounding more nervous than defiant.
