A/N I just laughed my way through this chapter . . . I hope you all do too!

Tall Tales (1)

Kylie's POV

I sat in a chair across from Sam with a cup of 'Bobby's Special Empath Brew' in my hands. I watched as he tiredly rubbed his face, reading a book that I had been through just hours ago. Dean on the other hand was sitting on the bed next to us, listening to the radio and chowing down on chili cheese fries like it was his last meal.

I would be more pissed . . . if he was eating them in our bed.

Sam let out a huff. "Dude. You mind not eating those on MY bed?"

Dean shook his head. "No, I don't mind." He let out as he dug his already greasy fingers into the mess, plopping them into his mouth. "How's research going?"

Okay, that hit a nerve.

"You know how it's going?" Sam let out, turning to face his brother. "Slow. You know how it would go a heck of a lot faster? If I had my computer."

Dean nodded, sarcastically. "Hmm." He hummed.

I rubbed my temple, trying to do my own research, but with the two hens bickering and groaning it was close to impossible.

"Can you turn that down please?" Sam asked, trying to be nice.

"Yeah, absolutely." Dean said, only turning the music up louder.

I rubbed the back of my neck and let out a sigh, waiting for the Winchester fight fest to begin yet again.

"You know what? Maybe, uh, maybe you should just go somewhere for a while." Sam said over the music.

Dean reached over, shutting off the radio before snapping his head at his brother. "Hey, I'd love to. That's a great idea. Unfortunately, my car's all screwed to hell."

It was moments like these I realized that I was the true man in this trio. The boys fought worse than middle school girls.

"Dean, I told you. I have nothing to do wi-" Sam was cut off by the knock at the door.

"Oh he's here." I jumped to my sneaker-covered feet, going to the door. I looked through the peephole for safety reasons.

"Who's he?" Dean asked rather grumpily and a slight hint of jealousy.

I only grinned at him, giving him a wink before opening the door.

"Bobby." I smiled, wrapping him in for a hug.

"Kylie." He chuckled, before taking a step back and looking me over. "You look ten times better than last time I saw you."

I let out my own chuckle and nodded. "I feel ten times better. Been sleeping like a baby and everything."

I only spoke the truth, the last couple of days with Bobby's tea I felt . . . amazing. Sure I still woke up with sore muscles and even a headache every now and then, but there were no visons, no unbearable pain.

"I guess you didn't call me here just to thank me." Bobby smiled.

I nodded and stepped to the side, letting him in. Sam and Dean instantly got to their feet, showing the man respect.

"Hey, Bobby." Sam and Dean greeted with a smile.

"Boys." Bobby nodded, shoving his hands in his pockets. "It's good to see you again, so soon."

"Yeah, uh, thanks for coming." Sam nodded.

"Thank God you're here." Dean let out.

Bobby turned to look at me as I crossed my arms. "So, um, what didn't you want to talk to me on the phone about?" He raised a brow.
