Chapter 11: FAVOR
But I can't blame myself. I'm the only one who can put up with Adrian's attitude. If I leave him, who will love him like I do?
"Are you done?" Caleb asked me when he entered the room.
He's now wearing a black polo, brown khaki pants, black cap and white shoes.
I'm wearing a black off shoulder top and brown skirt. I'm also wearing my favorite black combat shoes and brown sling bag. I wore my black cap and letting down my hair.
I hate to admit it but our clothes really matched each other. But I don't think he noticed it so I'm fine.
"Saan nga ulit tayo pupunta?" tanong ko.
"Merlion. Flyers. Anywhere you want," he answered.
Oh I almost forgot. I was so amazed with his car's features. I don't think this car is available in the Philippines or even if it is, for sure only crazy rich people can afford this luxury car.
"Can you drive?" maingat kong tanong.
He looked offended but he smiled at me. "Trust me. It's going to be the drive of the centuries," he said.
I laughed with his joke and just let him drive. He's driving at a normal speed and I can't help but to amaze with Singaporeans' discipline. I can't see any dirt in their roads. People are very respectful to others.
"You're amazed, huh?"
"Yeah, this is my first overseas travel. I'm glad I went to Singapore first," sambit ko habang nakatingin lang sa labas.
"The late prime minister did a good job in making this country great, Lauren," Caleb told me.
"But you know what, Singapore is great but I guess nothing really beats home. I still missed Philippines," he said.
He looked at me and bit his lower lip. "For now, I can't. But I'm planning to go home. I want to go home," he said.
