Morgan says annoyingly into the receiving end of my phone.
"Sorry, man, it's just going to be hard
enough talking her into coming; let
alone this"
I rub my neck, still unsure how I will pull this off. I have been looking at flats ever since she left, having Morgan do follow-ups to make sure it's all accessible but at the same time.
Something that Jess would like, something she'd feel comfortable in. I need and want to show her that I can do this. I can take care of her, just me.

Jess's face pops up. She's face-timing me "hey bro, I gotta go but text me," I say quickly before switching over and trying to change my facial expression.
"Hey," she smiles

"What's wrong? Did you change
your mind already?"
"No baby, I'm just trying to
figure out some stuff before
I go back home."
