Jungkook and Jimin cuddle on the couch after Sangjun goes to bed. "I met this girl in my class today. She borrowed one of my pencils and then asked for my number." He chuckles but Jimin doesn't.
"Did you give it to her?"
Jungkook shakes his head and plays with Jimin's hair. "No. Of course not."
Jimin frowns. "Why not?"
Jungkook pauses and shrugs. "I guess I don't want someone to flirt with me when I'm dating you."
"Was she flirting with you?"
"Not directly, but she said she just wanted to be friends and I can't tell you how many girls have said that to me only for that not to be the case."
Jimin giggles. "If she genuinely wants to be friend with you, then I don't see why not. Just give her your number and see what happens."
Jungkook laces their fingers together gently. "You don't mind?"
"Why would I mind?"
"Because she's a girl and I've been with girls in the past."
Jimin rolls his eyes. "We're adults, Jungkookie, not middle schoolers. You're allowed to be friends with girls. I mean, I'm friends with my ex. Honestly, all of my friends are guys and I'm gay, but you don't mind."
"Well..."
"Other than Hoseok."
"Yeah, but I'm getting used to it. It's just taking awhile. I don't know why I'm not okay with it yet. Some of my past girlfriends were friends with their exes, but I didn't care."
Jimin giggles harder. "It can be annoying, but I kind of think it's cute how protective you are."
"I know you don't like rushing things, but we've moved so fast. I think we have a special bond. I've never acted like this in a relationship and neither have you. Maybe that means we're meant to be together."
Jimin blushes heavily and kisses the back of Jungkook's hand. "I've actually thought about that a few times... I haven't been in a lot of relationships, but I can tell that ours is different than most."
Jungkook turns Jimin's face gently and gives him a kiss. "We should probably go to bed It's getting late."
