Jimin falls asleep next to Jungkook's hospital bed like he has for the past few nights. The nurses recommended that he get a hotel room nearby, but he refused to leave Jungkook's side.
The only time he's willing to let Jungkook out of his sight is when he needs to take a shower or go to the bathroom. Other than that, he sits there clasping Jungkook's hand.
He tries his best to stay awake for as long as possible, but he always ends up drifting off to sleep.
His dream right now is peaceful. He and Jungkook are sitting in the field where they had their picnic just talking about their lives. Every once and a while, a plane flies overhead, but it's completely silent other than their voices.
He's pulled out of his slumber when he feels Jungkook squeeze his hand. His eyes flutter open. "Hmm?"
Jungkook points to his chest and Jimin is fully awake in an instant. "What's wrong?"
"Hurts."
Jimin stands up so fast his chair falls over. "I'll go grab a doctor–"
He holds Jinin hand tightly, stopping him from leaving. "No. It just hurts a little."
Jimin turns to him with was stern expression and pulls his hand away. "The doctor told me to tell him whenever your condition fluctuates."
Jungkook frowns. "Fine..."
Jimin walks out of the room and sear he's for the doctor. He finally finds him and jogs up to him. "Hey. Jungkook woke up because he's feeling some pain in his chest."
The doctor walks back to the room with Jimin. They find that Jungkook's painkillers have run out so they give him another dose.
When the doctor leaves, Jimin lightly runs his thumb across the back of Jungkook's hand. "Don't ever try to stop me from getting a doctor. It's not gonna work."
Jungkook chuckles. "I don't need painkillers. All I need is for you to give me a few kisses."
"Kisses aren't enough."
"I don't know what you're talking about. I forget about everything else in the world when I'm kissing you."
Jimin rolls his eyes. "You're way too cheesy. I feel like you're gonna give me heart problems if you keep it up with the cheesy pick up lines."
Jungkook smiles and pulls Jimin down into a kiss. He mumbles, "If we did something, do you think anyone would notice?"
"Your brother is in here and I don't want to risk him waking up."
They hear the clearing of a small throat and they turn to see Sangjun wide awake, arms crossed. "I'm already awake. You two disgust me."
