They stay out on the beach until aost everyone has gone home so they can watch the stars. They lie on the towel in a comfortable silence until Jungkook clears his throat.

"Jimin?"

"Yeah Kookie?"

"I have a question..."

Jimin props himself up on his elbow so he can look into his eyes. "What is it?"

"I-It could be a really stupid question, but it's something that's been nagging at me since the beginning of our relationship..."

Jimin frowns and grabs one of Jungkook's hands. "Tell me."

"How serious do you think our relationship is?"

Jimin blinks a few times. "What?"

"Sorry, it was a dumb question–"

Jimin scrambles to lace their fingers together. "No, it wasn't stupid. I just didn't understand what you meant."

Jungkook sighs. "Am I a serious boyfriend to you or am I just a fun fling with one of your student's siblings?"

Jimin's eyes grow wide. "You're a serious boyfriend to me. I thought that was more clear."

He sees the moonlight glint off of something in the corner of Kook's eye and he gasps lightly. "Kookie, don't cry... What's wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong, I-I just... I was really scared that I was just a fling to you."

Jimin holds Jungkook's cheek in the palm of his hand. "Why would you think that?"

"You're so perfect and you have your life put together and I'm just a basic ass college student . You could be with people 100x better than me, so why would you think of me as a serious boyfriend?" His tears build up more.

Jimin gives him a tight hug. "Kookie, that's do not true. You're so special to me and I've never met anyone like you. You're quirky, smart, and carefree but you can also be mature when you need to be and it's so endearing to me. Don't ever tell yourself that you aren't good enough for someone."

Jungkook pulls away from the hug and sits up. "I bought something for you... Nina helped me pick it out..."

Jimin blushes lightly. "You didn't need to buy me anything. You're already paying for this whole trip."

"Well, too bad. I already bought it and ripped up the receipt." he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a long jewelry box. He opens it and Jimin's eyes sparkle. "Oh, Kookie..."

"It matches your bracelet. I don't know if you like necklaces or not, but I thought it was better than getting a ring because I know you'd freak out over a ring–"

"Babe, I love it. Can you help me put it on?"

Jungkook carefully take the necklace out of the box and fastens it around Jimin's neck. "It looks good on you."

"Thank you so much. You're so sweet." He gives him a long, warm kiss.

"... Is this a good time for me to tell you that I felt the box in your pants but thought it was a boner?"
