I found myself laying blood covered in the bed of the blue truck. I watched the sky as it slowly turned light. My mind was blank. I felt the bumps underneath me. I felt us stop and then go again. I just kept my eyes on the sky. We turned around. We're heading back. I push myself up to my feet moving the shotgun next to me as I pushed myself up looking over the cab. I spotted the green car as T-Dog drove right beside them. I saw Glenn driving. I waved as they sped up. Daryl was in front of them. We turned onto the highway and pulled right up. I got out and took the shotgun with me. I didn't see Shane. I didn't think I would ever again. I saw everyone reuniting and hugging. Daryl made eye contact with me and I shrugged. I look at my hands as I popped my knuckles. Everyone started talking amongst themselves. I spotted a walker and grabbed my knife. I jumped down and lined up my knife to its head. I threw it directly into its forehead. I walked over and grabbed my knife out of it and shook my head.
"Y/n, are you alright?" Rick asked as he stepped forward. I turned around holding back tears and nodded.
"Yeah, I think- I think I'm going to go, my own way." I swallowed hard.
"I can't let you do that on good conscience." Rick looked at me with sad eyes.
"Its time for me to go alone." I shook my head with a sigh. "I- I-" My voice broke, I chuckled looking up at Rick. "I'll stay here. Like we said, Andrea and Shane could still be out there. I'll go back for them, or- or I'll wait here. Shane- Shane, he always wanted to run away. Get the fuck out of here, and- and I think he's going to take this chance. This is what he- he does. He'll- he might come back and us gone?" I stuttered through my words. I didn't realize there was an arm around my shoulders. I was in tears. I looked next to me to see Daryl holding onto me. I folded into his chest letting myself break.

Season 3 start
I convinced Rick to let me go. I split off. Found vast amounts of walkers. I came across a small cottage with one bedroom, and supplies. I spent all winter alone, with low supplies, and about as much warmth as I could find. Spring rolled around and I never found anyone else. I cleaned up the house and made it all pretty and neat.
I took a deep breath as I rolled out of bed. I walked to the kitchen in my socks, shorts, and one of Shane's button ups, hanging off me unbuttoned showing my bra. I grabbed a can of corn and opened it. I took a spoon and started eating it when I heard pounding at the door. I groaned and grabbed a knife from the block and walked over. I peeked our the window to see a back with a riffle. I opened the chained door and peeked through it.
"What can I do for you?" I smiled with the knife up my sleeve. I heard a voice and quickly unchained the door.
"You look just as good as you did the last time I saw you." Merle Dixon. I laughed and looked at his hand, well, lack of. "Nice ain't it. How's my baby brother?"
"Jesus Dixon." I laughed and pulled him into a hug. "You're still a dick." I let go and looked at all the men around him. "C'mon in. Let me feed you."
"Hold on," Another man said from behind Merle as he walked up the steps. "How do you know her?" He was a tall brown haired man who wasn't bad looking at all. Although, he didn't give me the best feeling.
"How do you know him?" I huffed as I slowly walked away. "Keep your guns drawn on me. Ain't gonna bother me one bit. Come in if you want to eat, stay out there if you want to be eaten." I buttoned up some of the buttons and walked into the kitchen pulling down a pan. I heard footsteps and the door. Merle was the first in the kitchen and as I knew he would, started flirting with me.
"So, sugar. How are you? Ya' know. I wouldn't mind spending some, one on one time with you." Merle gently tucked my hair behind my ear as I started some eggs.
"Merle, I love the offer. We both know I'd jump on that the minute I could, but there's to many people around." I whispered as his hand and stub found my waist. I bit my lip remembering Shane. I quickly finished the eggs and plated them up bringing them to the table with the three other boys. I gave them each a plate and they all smiled. "How'd y'all find me?"
"Saw a house on our way back home. Figured we'd stop by." The taller man from earlier looked me up and down. "I'm the Governor, you can call me Phillip if you'd like."
"Y/n. It's a pleasure. Y'all got a base or, somethin'?" I smiled as I took a bite of eggs.
"Yeah, a town. Woodbury. Martinez, by the way." One of the men with a mouth full of eggs looked at me with a grin.
"I'll send people your way, if I don't kill them first." I winked at Martinez and he choked on his eggs a bit. I giggled and looked down as I heard a whisper or two.
"Come back with us, Y/n." My name slid of Philip's tongue with a sly smile. I chuckled and shook my head.
"Sorry boys, I left my group for a reason. Don't like people." I picked up my empty plate following with the others. Merle groaned and helped me out.
"Y/n, think about it. You could lead me to Daryl. Prove to him I'm not dead." Merle smiled at me. I shook my head.
"I've been alone for months, Dixon. I dunno what y'all want from me. Lead you to Rick?" I chuckled as I washed off the plates with a bucket of soapy water. "They could be long gone, maybe in Virginia by now."
"Don't you want to see Shane?" Merle piped up and I froze. I dropped the plate onto the floor causing it to shatter everywhere.
"Shane- you- what?" My jaw dropped as I tried to fathom the idea of seeing Shane again. "Bullshit."
"We'll find him. If you help us find Daryl." Merle extended his hand and I groaned taking it.
"Fine." I bit my lip with a nod.
What the hell am I getting myself into?
