I smiled as Martinez wrapped his arms around my waist. We'd just finished making out for the third time in the last two hours. My brain thought of Shane, it filled with his face, smile, laugh, and even every time he was pissed off. It all drifted away when his Radio went off.

"Still on the clock." Martinez answered it. "What?"

"C'mon, we need help down here." A man's voice shot through the speaker. I sighed exasperated. "Just you."

"Man, I'm busy." Martinez looked at me. I smiled and shook my head.

"It's okay, we can do this again later." I kissed his cheek, then his jaw, all causing him to groan.

"Fuck, alright. I'll be down." He looked at me and smiled. "You-" Martinez smiled at me. "Stay here."

"What's your first name?" I spoke as I sat down on his couch.

"Cesar." Martinez nodded and left his apartment. I groaned and laid on the couch. I closed my eyes.

"Might as well sleep until he gets back." I sighed and imagined Shane, once again.

I spun around. My other hand was caught and I came face to face with Shane. His smile was bright and his outfit clean, a nice button up (typical) and slacks.

"Hey baby." His voice was warm and daring. I missed it. I laughed as he danced with me. The soft music filling our ears. Right up until the minute it ended I danced with him. When it ended I made eye contact with him. "I miss you." Shane whispered right before he disappeared leaving me on my own. Then gunfire.

Gunfire. I shot off the couch and out of the apartment. I looked around to see guns firing back and fourth. I saw a dead man on the ground and grabbed his gun. I saw smoke everywhere. I walked through the smoke to the intruders. I came face to face with none other than Maggie.

"Holy fuck." I paused. I heard gunfire coming our way and pushed her back into a indent in front of a building which lead us right to Rick, Glenn, Daryl, and a large black man in a convict outfit. "Holy mother of fuck." I hugged Daryl and looked at him.

"I saw Y/n go right towards them! We can't let them-" I knew it was Martinez yelling for me. "Y/n! Y/n!" His voice carried.

"Who is that? Shane?" Rick tired to push past me but, I stopped him.

"We don't have time. You guys need to get the hell out. I can cover fire for you, but not for long." I looked at Daryl.

"Daryl, Y/n you lay down cover fire I'll signal you when yo come." Rick looked at me and I shook my head.

"Daryl and I can lay down. I'm not coming. I'll come eventually, but I have to stay here." I sighed as I looked at everyone. "Ready?"

"Ready." Daryl handed me a smoke bomb and we both tossed them. Smoke covered us as we rushed to tables and flipped them down. I fired shots hitting someone. I hated every minute of being in between the two groups. I fired more shots. I looked at Daryl and sighed.

"Shoot me in the leg and go." I saw his confusion. I have him a weak smile. Daryl shook his head while the rest of the group left. "Then I have to take you prisoner."

"Do it." Daryl dropped his bow and lunged at me. I put a gun to his head with a groan as I stood up.

"Don't shoot!" I yelled out as I held Daryl at gunpoint. "I got one!" Merle disappeared. "You're in hostile territory now."

"Let me go!" Daryl faked trying to get me to let go. Martinez ran over and pushed Daryl to someone else. After he wrapped me in a big hug causing one very real smile from me.

"You're okay, I thought they killed you." Martinez cupped my cheeks with a big grin. He kissed me gently. I chuckled and kissed back.

"I'm okay. Just a lil' scratched up." I smiled and let him pull me up for another hug. I smiled into his shoulder.

Everything was a blur walkers, gunfire, hands on me, and running. I saw enough to know three things, Martinez said he loves me, Phillip pinned Daryl and Merle against each other, and I am the new third in command. Last night was nothing less than a shit show. I was stuck in Woodbury with Andrea. The chances of me seeing Rick again was slim.
I sat with Martinez on his couch while he tried to pick at my brain.

"Who was your first love?" He looked me in the eye. I chuckled and shrugged.

"Guess I've only had two in my life." I smiled. I was lying, I'd only had one. My eyes looked past him and at the wall. "Shane Walsh. The one before you. Since we were in high school. We- We hated each other. Except everyone knew it wasn't hate. It was love. We kissed once, maybe twice before the world ended. Our best friends got married, so we always were together even in the end. I fell in love with him before I knew I was in love with him." I chuckled as I looked at my hands.

"How'd he die?" Martinez forced my face to his and I smiled.

"Dunno. Could still be alive. God only knows with that man." I chuckled and leaned forward pushing my forehead against his. "Then again, I'm here, with you, until I die." I whispered as I pushed myself onto his lap. Martinez's hands found my waist.

"You're driving me crazy." His voice was low and raspy. Attractive, but not Shane. "I- I don't know if I can hold back anymore with you."

"I do." I kissed his lips, letting him grip me tighter as he slipped his tongue into my mouth. Our radio went off  and I groaned as I pulled away. When I grabbed my radio I clicked on. "What the hell-"

"Y/n?" Shane's voice screeched through the radio. My heart leaped and my stomach flipped. "Y/n?"

"I- what?" I trembled as I got off Martinez. He was looking at me confused. I pushed my shoes on and jacket as I began to tear up. "Sh- where are you?"

"Some town. Woodbury?" Shane's voice was blank and pure. I rushed out of the apartments to see the street filled with people. "I- I heard your name floating around. Where are you?"

"Shane? Please. Is- Is it-" I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head then, nothing.
