"One thing I'll always regret is not telling you sooner."

Shane's words played a loop in my head, we'd finally gone back to camp. We'd shown up just in time for Dale to catch our attention to Jim, he'd been watching him for more than an hour. He was up on the hill digging holes. Shane, and I went up to go see what Jim was doing, others just followed along out of pure concern for Jim.

"Hey Jim? Why don't you hold up, all right? Just give me a second here, please?" Shane kept a laid back posture, he stayed on high guard. I stood next to him with a worried look on my face.

"What do you want?" Jim sounded relaxed get tired.

"We're all just a little concerned, that's all." Shane was staying calm, much to my surprise.

"Dale said you've been out here for hours." I smiled at Jim and Morales stepped up next to me.

"So?" Jim was confused by our confrontation to him.

"So, why are you digging?" Shane leaned towards me a slight bit. Like a way to be closer. "Are you heading to China, Jim?" Shane chuckled a bit.

"What does it matter? I'm not hurting anyone." Jim shrugged us off, causing Shane to look at me and me to look at him. I already knew what he was thinking.

"Yeah, except maybe yourself. It's 100° today. You can't keep this up." Dale spoke up before I had the chance. Jim kept on digging.

"Sure I can. Watch me." Jim once again shrugged us off.

"Jim, they're not gonna say it so I will. You're scaring people. You're scaring my son and Carol's daughter." Lori stepped forward with her arms crossed. She was on the farthest side away from me.

"They've got nothing to be afraid of. I mean- What the hell people? I'm out here by myself. Why don't you all just go and leave me the hell alone?" Jim stood up and looked at me then flickered his eyes around before landing back on his task.

"I think that you need to take a break, okay? Get yourself in the shade, food possibly. Once you've done that, I'd happily come out here. Help you myself." I smiled and stepped forward towards Jim. I felt Shane tense behind me. "Can you tell me what this is about?" He continued to dig, ignoring me. "Alright, why don't you go on and give me that shovel?"

"Or what?" Jim fires back and I sighed.

"There is no 'or what'. I'm asking you. I'm coming to you, and I'm asking. Please Jim. I'm not trying to take it from you- hell I don't want to have to, but if I do I will." I swallowed my anxiousness, and held my ground.

"And if I don't then what? Then you're gonna have your boyfriend over there beat my face in, like Ed Peletier aren't you? Y'all seen his face, huh? What's left of it. See now, that's what happens when someone crosses either one of you." Jim held a hand on his shovel. I felt heat starting to rise inside of me. I clicked my tongue, I turned around and saw Shane trying to keep a cool composure.

"Jim, that was different. N-" I held my tongue as Amy spoke up.

"You weren't there. Ed was out of control. He was hurting his wife." Amy spoke up causing Jim to yell back.

"That is their marriage. That is not his. He is not judge and jury. Who votes you king and queen boss, huh?" Jim yelled and got defensive. I clicked my tongue two times and was ready to bite back when someone stood next to me.

"We are not here to argue with you all right? Just give me the shovel okay?" Shane. He reached his hand out for the Shovel and Jim immediately pushed him back. I gasped as Jim swung it at Shane. Shane quickly took him to the ground and Jim started yelling.
