Ace's (Your) POV
When the elevator arrived at Professor Ozpin's office, I walked in and he said, "Ahh, Mr. Dodger. Come in. Take a seat." I did as Ozpin said and asked him, "Professor, may I ask why you wanted to see me?" He smiled warmly and said, "Yes, I did. Well, Mr. Dodger, you see, I'm afraid to say this, there's something that you should know about your parents. Before they left for their last mission, they told me that if anything happened to them, they wanted me to tell you that they left everything to you in their will. Their house, their money, and your mother had asked me to accept you into Beacon Academy. I promised her and your father that I would do everything they asked. They also told me that when you started at Beacon, I should give you this." He reached into a drawer in his desk and handed me a small box that had my name written on it. I opened it and saw an old picture of my parents and a young version of me in front of my old house along with a key. I flipped the photo over and saw a message written on it that said:
To our energetic son, Ace, your mother and I will always love you.
Your father, Jason Dodger.
I felt tears start to go down my face. Then Ozpin said, "Just know, your parents would be proud of you." I nodded and said, "Thanks, Professor." He nodded and said, "You may leave now." I nodded again and left his office. After I got back off the elevator, I headed back to my dorm with tears still going down my face. I went into my dorm, which was currently vacant, and laid on my bed. I heard a knock on the dorm, which was followed by a familiar female voice saying, "Ace? Are you alright?" I got up, opened the door, and saw Nora looking at me concerned. I shook my head and said, "No." She nodded and entered my dorm. I sat on my bed and continued to cry. She sat down next to me and said, "Do you want to talk about it?" I told everything about how my parents had died and what Ozpin had told me. I hugged her and cried into her shoulder. She put her arms around me and said, "It's okay, Ace. Let it out." Then I did something that she wasn't expecting. I kissed her on the lips. She put her arms around my neck and kissed me back. It was perfect and full of pure bliss. We pulled away for air and I said, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that. I just got emotional and kissed you." She smiled and said, "It's okay, Ace. There's something that I need to tell you. I'm in love with you." I looked at her and said, "You are? I love you too. But what about Ren?" She chuckled lightly and said, "What about him?" I replied, "I thought you and him were a thing." She smiled and said, "No, Ren and I were never together-together. We were just great friends." I nodded and asked, "Nora, will you go out with me?" She smiled big and said, "Does this answer your question, Ace?" Then she kissed me on the lips and we shared an amazing and passionate kiss.
