I put my Scroll back in my pocket and waited. Eventually I heard the roof access door open and saw Ruby sit down next to me. She looked at me and said, "Hey, Ace. What's up?" I sighed and said, "You know that my parents died a few years ago and they were the only family that I had." Ruby nodded with a confused and concerned look. I sighed again and said, "I was wrong. My mom had a sister." Ruby smiled and said, "That's great! You have an aunt!" I smiled weakly and said, "Unfortunately, my aunt was announced dead, but they never found the body. But my aunt had a daughter." Ruby looked at me confused and said, "Why are you telling me this, Ace? Why not Nora?" I smiled warmly and said, "My aunt's name was Summer Rose." Ruby looked at me shocked and said, "But... but... but... wouldn't that mean that we're cousins?" I nodded with a couple tears in my eyes and said, "Yes, Ruby. We're cousins. You and Yang are both my cousins. You're my family." Ruby smiled and hugged me. I hugged her back and said, "I still have family."
While we were hugging, I heard, "Ace? Why are you and my sister hugging?" Ruby and I broke the hug and saw Yang standing by the door. She came over to us and I said, "I still have some family left." Yang looked at me confused and said, "Okay?" I continued, "My mom had a sister by the name of Summer Rose." Yang stared at me with her jaw open. She finally said, "Doesn't that make Ruby and I your cousins?" I nodded, allowing a few more tears to leave my eyes. Yang hugged me tightly and I said, "I'm so glad that you two are my family." I hugged her back and she said, "Me too." We pulled out of the hug and I heard, "Ace! I'm gonna break your legs!"
