Ace's POV
I got up early the next morning and decided to get some practice with Snap. I got dressed, left a note for Nora, and headed to an area of the woods right outside of the village. I started to practice using the whip to hit things. Once I got good at hitting the things that I was aiming at, I started to use Snap to break things. After awhile, I had gotten really skilled at using Snap. So I coiled it up and put it in decently sized pocket inside my jacket. I headed back to the Inn and entered my room. Nora was still fast asleep on the bed. I smiled and went to the bathroom. I got undressed and got into the shower. I closed my eyes as the water ran over my body. It felt so refreshing after so long.
After I finished my shower, I got dressed and exited the bathroom. Nora was still asleep, so I walked over to her and said, "Thunder Thighs, it's time to get up." She groaned and grabbed my arm. I smiled and said, "Nora, come on." She groaned and said, "Five more minutes." I sighed and said, "If you get dressed, then I'll carry you so you can keep sleeping. How does that sound?" She smiled sleepily and said, "Okay." She started changing into her normal outfit with some help from me. Then I picked her up and said, "Happy now?" She nodded and fell back asleep. I smiled and said, "It's a good thing I love you, Nora." I met the others outside and Ruby said, "Is Nora okay?" I nodded and said, "She's just not ready to wake up yet." Ren smiled and said, "I've been in that situation before." I smiled and said, "So let's go." Then we continued on our way to Mistral.
About an hour or so later, I felt some movement in my arms. I looked at Nora, who was just waking up, and said, "Morning, Sleepy head." She yawned and said, "Morning, Ace." She hopped out of my arms and said, "So when's breakfast?"
