My hands shook and I breathed heavily. My heart beat rapidly. Someone approached me from behind.

Hawk placed a hand on my shoulder and I flinched away. "It's okay."

I could barely breath. "What just happened?"

The Jedi hobbled over in front of me, leaning heavily on a cane. "Strong in the Force, you are."

"What?" My head was spinning. "No... I... That can't be."

"And yet," the Jedi continued, "it is."

Hawk grabbed my arm and helped me up.
"What do I do now?" I stared at the damage I had caused.

"With us, you must come." The Jedi pounded the end of his cane into the ground for emphasis.

I pulled away from Hawk. "You mean... leave."

The Jedi nodded.

My heart leaped in my chest before plummeting farther than ever before. "How? You crashed."
The other trooper scanned the horizon, his eyes settling on a landing ship in the distance. "Easy. We borrow one."

I smirked at him. "No problem."

Hawk lifted his scanner. "I count at least a hundred clankers."

"Child's play." The other hefted a large, eight-barreled blaster.

"Wisdom, we must use in taking this ship." The Jedi used his cane to emphasize his words.

"He's right." I pointed to one corner of the ship. "Who knows what's behind that blind spot."

Hawk lowered his scanner and examined the area I had indicated. "I'll take care of it." He lifted his visor and unholstered his blasters. "Don't wait up." He slid down the hill and disappeared into the trees.

I stared across the field of droids and felled trees. Hawk slipped behind a bush, holding his gun. I looked to my right to where Tech - the other trooper - moved carefully into position.
The Jedi - Master Yoda - hid somewhere to my left in the brush.

Hawk gave me a little salute before charging into the blind spot. Recognizing his signal, the rest of us jumped out of the bushes and pushed forward, blasting droids.

I impaled them on my staff and electrocuted the ones that didn't die. One of the droids managed to wrench the staff from my grasp and I was left to defend myself with only my two swords. I bobbed and weaved between my opponents, slicing them in half.

Before long, we had destroyed the entire battalion of droids. Hawk ran around to the back of the ship and lowered the bay door. Tech rushed inside, taking the controls. Soon, we lifted off. This was it. I was finally going to get off this rock.

As we pushed up out of the atmosphere, my heart skipped a beat. A fleet of enemy ships blocked our escape. We were trapped.
