The Citadel

I sat in a cell alone. The warden apparently didn't want the Jedi bouncing ideas off of each other. On top of that, my hands were cuffed behind my back and there were two guards at my door.

The droids had taken us to a Sepratist prison known as the Citadel. It was notorious for being inescapable.

My door slid open and a tall Phindian entered my cell. Osi Sobeck was the warden of the prison and he was about as cruel as they came. He approached me, his hands clasped behind his back. "Do you know why you're here Master Jedi."

I lifted an eyebrow at the title. "I'm no Master."

He chuckled. "Of course. You're the padawan." He leaned down to be at eye level with me and fingered the thin braid in my hair. "Then do you know why you're not dead yet, padawan."

I just glared at him, wishing I could wipe his spit off my face.

He straightened. "You are here because you have something we want." He grabbed my chin and squeezed as he tilted my face upwards. "And you're going to tell us what we want to know."

I wrenched my face from his grip. "What makes you think I know anything?"

He grinned. "I never said I did." He gripped my arm tightly and jerked me to my feet. "Get The interrogator!" He shouted at the droids guarding my cell. "I think we have a talker."

I held back a scream as the electricity jolted through my body. I wouldn't give them the satisfaction of hearing me scream. With a hiss, the lightning stopped and my body went limp.

Sobeck pinched my chin between his thumb and forefinger. "Are you ready to talk?"

"I'll talk." A spat in his face. "When I'm dead."

He wiped the spit away with his free hand and chuckled. "That can be arranged." He nodded to a droid who turned a dial and the searing pain shot through my body, worse this time.
This time I couldn't help but scream.

When it finally stopped, I could barely lift my head and my entire body ached. I breathed hard and heavy as Sobeck strutted over.

He grabbed my hair and jerked my head up. "Now, tell us the coordinates for the Nexus Route."

I glared at him defiantly. "Over my... dead... body."

"As you wish." He dropped my head and the pain ripped through my body. It felt like they were ripping me in half.

My screams echoed through the room and down the hall. Soon, a droid entered the room and the electrocution stopped.

"Sir," the droid stood before Sobeck. "The Jedi Master is ready to speak with you."

"Good." Sobeck snickered.

"On one condition." The droid continued.

"What?" The warden growled.

The droid looked at me. "You stop torturing the padawan."

Sobeck rubbed his chin. "Hmm... fair enough." He nodded to a droid and I dropped to the ground, unable to support my own weight.
Sobeck stood triumphantly over me. "Bring him to me."
