I ran my hand along the Beskar ore as the ship landed on Coruscant.

The clones unloaded the boulder and Master Yoda came to meet us in the docking bay. He watched the clones set down the boulder. "Successful, your mission was?"

Master Gallia nodded to the clones in thanks and dismissal. "Yes." She bowed to Master Yoda and I. "If you'll excuse me."

Master Yoda nodded and she disappeared into the temple. He turned to the boulder. "Harvested, the ore must be." Closing his eyes, he raised a hand towards the rock.

The boulder quivered and cracked. Suddenly, the stone fell away, leaving only the veins of Beskar lying atop the pile of rubble.

My jaw almost dropped. "How did you do that?"

Master Yoda chuckled. "In mysterious ways, the Force works."

I nodded.

Master Yoda pointed at the Beskar ore with his cane. "Bring it inside."

I outstretched my hand towards the metal and it lifted off the ground. Beskar in tow, Master Yoda and I proceeded into the temple.

I took a deep breath and reached towards the pot of molten metal. A stream of red-hot Beskar flowed up out of the forge towards the table where my two Kyber Crystals and the inner parts of my lightsabers lay.

With my other hand, I lifted the other components of the lightsabers. Moving my fingers fluidly, I connected the parts and encased them in orange, liquid metal.

The Beskar hissed as it flowed over the cold guts of the lightsabers. The molten glow matched the color of my partially purified Kyber Crystals.

As the Beskar reached the end of the hilt, it branched into two short hand guards on the top of the hilt.

I drifted the lightsabers over to a basin of water and dipped the red-hot weapons into it. Steam poured out of the basin, filling the room.

When a pulled the weapons from the water, the color had faded to a shining silver. The hilts were smooth and elegant. The hand guards were simple but beautiful.

I laid the two lightsabers on the table and let them cool a bit more before handling them.
Finally, I picked one up. It was surprisingly lite weight. I could sense the Kyber Crystals inside.

As my fingers brushed the small pressure button near the hand guards, an orange blade flashed out of the top of the weapon. My heart skipped a beat. Picking up the second lightsaber, I did the same thing.

I couldn't help but smile at the two glowing orange blades that reminded me of the molten metal I had used to forge them.

I had my Jedi weapon.
