The gunship jostled as an explosion blasted through the air next to us. I clung to the bar overhead as the ship rocked.

"We're entering the atmosphere, ma'am. Looks like we're gonna have a welcoming committee." The pilot said through my com link.

I grabbed the jet pack leaning against the ship wall and lifted it over my head, latching it to my back. I rolled my shoulders. "Okay, Tracer, open the door."

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Hawk asked. The door slid open, the air rushing into the ship.

"Of course." I replied. "I never was a very good pilot." I hopped out of the ship.

The air whipped passed me, my hair flying wildly around my face. I pressed a button on my wrist and the jet pack ignited. I slowed to a stop then rose, flying passed the gunship. I grabbed my lightsabers and jettisoned towards the separatist fighters.

They fired a spray of blasts at me. I deflected the bolts back at the fighters. Once I was close enough, I slashed through one fighter, spun, and cut into another. Pushing off of one fighter, I stabbed through its wing and propelled myself into another. I spun and sliced the last fighter in half. I dropped to the ground, landing in a crouch.

The droids stopped and looked at me. I smirked and lunged forward, dicing the droids. The next few moments were a blur of slashing orange blades and scrapped metal parts.

I stood among the mutilated droids. One lifted its arm and fired a final blast. I raised me saber and deflected the shot back through the droids head.

The gunship landed and Hawk jogged out with a squadron of clones.

I looked at him and smirked. "Took you long enough."

He chuckled.

I raised my arm and spoke into my com link. "The main outpost is secure. Ready to join the party, Skywalker?"

"You have no idea." He replied.

I waited for Anakin on the platform of the main outpost. Hawk had sent several squadrons of clones to hunt down the rest of the droids.

Their gunship landed and Anakin walked over to me. "I should've led the frontal attack."

I scoffed. "Is someone jealous?"

Anakin rolled his eyes. "No. I just think..."

"That you could do a better job?" I interrupted. "You may be the Chosen One, but I'm the youngest Jedi to be knighted."

"And so humble." He pointed out.

I chuckled.

"General." Hawk approached from outside of the base. He had the orange silhouette of a bird painted above the visor of his helmet.

"Yes, Commander." I turned to face him, regaining my composure.

He stood at attention. "The remaining droids all seem to be headed in the same direction. We believe their headed for the base."

I nodded. "Tech!"

The clone trotted over, an orange stripe down the center of his helmet. "General?"

"Go with Hawk." I ordered. "He'll take you to one of the squads tailing the surviving droids. Leave one intact. See if you can find the location of the separatist station in it data base. If not, put a tracker on it and wipe your attack from its memory banks. Let it lead you to the base."

Tech nodded and followed his commander.

"Hawk." I called after him.

He turned.

"Keep your com link on. We'll trace the signal once you've found the base."
