We crouched behind a giant seed pod house as the sepratists approached the Lurmen village.
Wag Too led us out of the village. "Good luck."
Master Skywalker turned to watch the separatist army converse with the leader of the village. "You'll need more luck than we will. Don't trust them."
Wag Too nodded. "We shouldn't have a problem there. My father doesn't trust any outsiders."
Master Skywalker nodded.
Master Secura placed a hand on his shoulder. "We must go."
Our group turned and jogged away from the village.
I paused and looked back.
Ahsoka noticed my hesitation and stood beside me. "It's for their protection."
I sighed. "I know." I let her pull me away after our masters.
————
We made our way through the plains farther from the village. We stopped at the base of a large tree and climbed up to get a good view of where the sepratists had set up their temporary base.Master Secura examined the compound with a scanner. "We can use one of their ships to get off the planet."
Master Skywalker took the scanner and tracked the movement of some droids. "What's that?" He lowered the device and pointed.
A large tank emerged from the base and moved out into the plains. Ahead of it, two droids were walking through the grass. The leader seemed to make a big speech before the tank's cannon fired. Upon contact with the ground, a wall of fire raced across the plains, killing every living thing in the vicinity.
Two clones, scouts that we had sent out to investigate, barely escaped the seering wrath of the weapon.
The two droids, who had been caught in the blast, were unharmed.
I gasped. The sepratists has created a super weapon that destroyed living things, but left machines unimpaired.
————
I pressed myself close to the wall as a group of droids passed. I looked over at Ahsoka, who stood beside me. She nodded and we vaulted the wall in a single jump. Our lightsabers flashed to life, Ahsoka's a pale green. We slashed through the droids, quickly dispatching the guards.Ahsoka stared fixated at my lightsabers.
I raised an eyebrow.
She moved her gaze to meet mine and gave me a questioning look.
"It's a long story." I retracted the blades and hung them from my belt.
We jogged across the compound to meet Masters Skywalker and Secura.
The clones approached from one of the ships. "We found one."
We all dashed over to the vessel.
Master Skywalker noticed something out of the corner of his eye. "Shield generators. Those could be useful." He turned to the clone with the blue-detailed armor. "Rex, load 'em up."
"Yes sir." Rex and two other clones loaded the shield generators onto the ship.
Soon, we were taking off.
I stared out the front windshield down at the scarred ground. My eyes drifted to the Lurmen village. "They'll be slaughtered." I turned to Master Secura. "We have to help them."
She sighed. "I agree. Master Skywalker, land us near the village. Our work isn't done here."
He smirked. "I thought you'd never ask."
A/N
Sorry, it took awhile. I really have to stop writing four/five stories at once!
I hope you enjoyed the chapter and I'll try to be better at updating.😆
