My breath caught in my throat. There was no way we were getting through that blockade.

Hawk stared out the window at one of the massive ships. "There has to be a ship on one of those fraters."

The Jedi rubbed his chin. "Hmm... easy, it will not be."

Tech started their ship towards the frater. "It never is. We don't have any other choice."

I nodded. "We do have a good chance of getting on board in this." I gestured around the cockpit.

"Well," Tech said as two fighters flew out to flank them. "Here goes nothing." He transmitted clearance codes and we waited in anxious silence.

Finally, the signal came back positive, urging us to land in one of the docking bays. Tech eased the ship into position and locked it into place.

Hawk watched out the front window, scanning the hangar. "This must be where they keep all of their landing ships. None of them will have a hyperdrive."

I turned towards the door. "Then we'll have to get to another hangar."

"That won't be easy." Tech spun around in his chair.

"No," I admitted, "but it'll be fun."

I pushed Hawk back against the wall as a procession of droids marched past. This wasn't going to work. The frater was crawling with droids and we were too conspicuous.

I spotted a closet and hustled them inside. "Wait here."

Hawk grabbed my arm as I turned to leave. "Where are you going?"

I met his gaze and smirked. "To find us a ship."
I handed him a tracer. "When I find one, I'll tag it. This should lead you right to it."

Without another word, I slipped out the door. For the moment, the coast was clear, but it wouldn't stay that way.

I scanned the hallway and noticed the vent in the ceiling. Jumping, I grabbed one end and pried it open. I leapt up into the air duct and yanked the vent closed behind me. I crawled through the cramped space for longer than I liked before I found another hangar. Peering through the grated vent, I spotted a ship. Perfect.

I elbowed the vent down out of place and dropped to the floor. Then, I swung the vent up, slamming it back into position. The hangar was relatively unguarded.

Reaching the ship, I placed a tracer next to the hatch and activated it. The rest was up to the others.

On the far side of the hangar stood a deactivated walker droid. I grinned. We would need a distraction.

Hey, sorry about the wait. This story is progressing very slowly. It doesn't help that I am currently writing two other stories on top of this one. So, please don't hate me. I will try to upload again soon. Just bear with me.
