I sat with Jarris and Ahsoka in the training room. Their Masters were on a mission together and I didn't have anything else to do.

"So," Jarris swung his wooden sword, colliding with Ahsoka's. "What's it like to train under the great Anakin Skywalker?"

"Really?" Ahsoka countered the attack, sending Jarris back a few steps. "That's the most clique question you could ask."

Jarris shrugged before blocking the Togruta's attack.

"Well," she replied. "If you must know," she twirled and swept Jarris' leg, knocking him to the ground. "He's head-strong, stubborn, recklessly brave, and would gladly give his life for his friends."

I tried to hold back a laugh as Jarris stiffly rose to his feet.

He tossed the wooden weapon at me and I ducked out of the way.

"Someone's a sore loser." Ahsoka offered him a hand.

He sighed and took it. "No, I'm just sick of being beaten by kids."

I scoffed. "You're only two years older than us."

Ahsoka crossed her arms. "And you're acting two years younger."

He chuckled. "Fine. You win. I'll stop complaining."

"Good." Ahsoka and I said at the same time.

Jarris rolled his eyes.

I stood. "My turn."

Jarris raised his hands and walked over to the bench. "I'm out. I want to see you two go toe-to-toe."

Ahsoka and I shared a look. "Fine."

We moved to stand across from each other.

I raised the wooden sword. "Ready when you are."

Ahsoka lunged forward.

I parried the attack and ducked around behind her. Before I could strike, she had whirled to face me and blocked the attempt.

After probably a half-hour of fighting, Ahsoka and I were winded and Jarris was watching with wide eyes.

Finally, we called it a draw and put the swords away. We both moved to the bench and sat down on either side of Jarris.

"That was insane." He sat back, leaning on his hands.

We were called to a meeting in the communications tower and the three of us walked together. We stood on the outskirts as the adults discussed the war.

Suddenly, an R2 unit burst through the door and toppled down the stairs.

"Woah!" Ahsoka tried to calm the panicked droid. "It's R2-D2"

Master Skywalker's droid was frantically trying to tap into the holotable. When he finally managed it, an image of Master Skywalker and Master Windu appeared. They were trapped under a pile of shrapnel.

Jarris, Ahsoka, and I stared at the hologram along with all the adults as R2 relayed Master Skywalker's message.

Master Plo Koon volunteered to go after the two Jedi. Ahsoka and Jarris asked to join him since it was their Masters who were in trouble.
And I managed to get a spot on the mission too.

Soon, the four of us and a battalion of clones were setting out to save the two Masters.
