Dear Kai,
You're probably wondering 'what the hell is this?'
Well if you're reading this then something must have gone horribly wrong, because this is my "post-death-pack."
I started making it when I went back into the hospital, I thought for sure I was going to die, but then I didn't. I survived a crisis just to live through another one. God knows what killed me. What I do know is that when I die, you're going to need a proper goodbye.
Well here it is...
Kai I was born into a world than wanted me dead, I was a normal child for a few years and then I got cancer, and I was supposed to die. But I didn't, honestly, a part of me wanted to die because I felt like I had nothing to live for,
but then you came along.
You're the last person I wrote a letter for, not because I didn't know what to say but because it took everything I had to write this letter without falling apart. I can't imagine a world without you. You are, by far, the hardest person to say goodbye to, I didn't know I could love anyone as much as I love you.
You changed everything Kai. You are the reason why I fought so damn hard to live. You became everything I didn't know I needed,
my protector,
my best friend,
my safe place,
my happy place,
and last but not least, my stalker. Stop smiling. Creep.
Serendipity: finding something good without looking for it... You're my serendipity, even though you're a pain in my ass, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me, I am so grateful to have been a part of your life.
I am with you, every step of the way.
If night comes, and you find yourself missing me, drive up to our spot on the hill, look up at the stars... no I'm not a star, but look up, look just how beautiful the sky is and remember the only thing I believe in more than the night sky, is us.
You are my entire heart.
I love you in this life and I'll love you in the next.
