Chapter 31 Equivocal Demeanor

Ilang linggo ang nagdaan at patuloy kaming tinetrain ng bawat council members. And as an illusion magic wielder, Ms. Locasta Circe did the job. Her beauty was exceptional, the rumors are bunch of fact, she was already in her mid 50s. Based on what I see she is younger than Ms. Lilyana, but she showed up her real face at doon kami nabigla. Nagpaulit ulit iyon sa tenga ko ang huling sinabi ng guro namin. Hindi pa niya naituro pero I want to have atleast knowledge of that spell but I did find any traces here.

Hindi ko namalayan na pasara na pala ang library, agad na nilibot ko ang paningin ko and I was shocked to see the library as quite as abandoned place. Flashback

I woke up from a squeaking noise of the wooden door. I looked around pero gulat akong napatayo dahil wala si Lance sa kanyang bed. I get up to check him, pero wala rin sa hallway.

I rushed to put my cloak on at dali dali akong lumabas to search him, doon ako nagulat nang makita siyang nakaupo mula sa gilid ng entrance ng Academy. Good thing there's this huge column to hide myself. Itinuon ko ang paningin ko sa kanya at doon ko napansin na, he was holding his necklace at mayroong ibinubulong doon as if someone was talking to him.

Kahit tahimik ang lugar hindi ko magawang marinig ang kanyang sinasabi. Kaya I took the risk to get near to him, at buong ingat akong pumunta sa next na column. Pagkarating ko roon, I saw him stood up at nagpalingalinga ito sa paligid, bago siya tumingin sa likod niya agad akong nagtago.

I calm myself, dahil hindi niya ako nakita. But his voice echoed in my ear.
