Chapter Sixteen: Twinkle twinkle you're a star

" We are so dead!" Nicky screamed.

" Wha- WHAT NO I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! Audrey was the one who stole your t-shirt I swear! " I yelled swiping my hands like a crazy person.

" We overslept! " Nicky paused. " Wait what? " 

" Nothing. " I chuckled. " Wow you sure as hell know how to wake someone up. You're so smooth! " I stated throwing my teddy bear at Nic.

" Audrey wake up! " She whined. " We are already failing half our classes it's 10 am dude! " She said while attempting to find a matching sock. " Is it okay if I wear one orange and one pink sock? Audrey wake up! " She yelled once again.

" What's the big deal guys? " Audrey yawned removing her sleeping mask.

" We are going to graduate high school in 30 years that's what's up! " Nicky crossed her arms in despair.

" Says the girl with one pink and one orange sock. " She laughed.

" You guys are lucky my mom is already at work. " I said lighting a cigarette.

" You are seriously gonna smoke a joint before going to school at 10 am? " Nicky laughed while fixing her hair.

I stuck my tongue out at them and began dressing myself up. I had a hangover so I couldn't give a rat's ass about how I looked like right now. I lazily walked up to my closet and pulled a pair of black skinny jeans out and a jack daniels t-shirt along with a crimson jacket and a beanie to hide my messy hair. " Is it okay if I wear black Jeffrey Campbell shoes to school? " I asked dragging my words out of boredom.

" You're one of us. You can wear a clown suit if you want to. " Audrey laughed at her own statement." Although, that was just a joke. Don't wear a clown suit. " She said in a serious tone.

I sighed. She didn't help me at all. I dragged my ass to the car. Me and the girls decided to skip breakfast in order to be there in time. Haha in time...ha...in time. We were already two hours late what am I talking about.

" Audrey sometimes when I'm in the car with you, I don't really know if you're driving or just trying to get us all killed. " I commented on her terribly terrible driving skills with a sarcastic look on my face.

" Congratulations! You managed to get us to school safe and sound! " I once again stated with an attitude while getting out of the car.

" Grumpy much? " Audrey flashed me a pretty smile and walked into the school as if she was a runway model.

My classes bored me to death.Maybe cause most of them were just me and Fay and I don't really have a good relationship with her. She's kind of weird towads me sometimes...or maybe I'm just being paranoid who knows.

The bell finally rang just when I was about to slit my wrists with my pen because of how bored I was. Thank God it was lunch time. I spotted everyone sitting on our table and my face instantly lit up.

" You're the new girl right? " Suddenly a dark haired short girl appeared in front of me. Her eyes examining me from head to toe. God her gaze was making me feel uncomfortable, she was just staring. " Heather isn't it? " She smiled creepily.

" Yes? What's your point? " I asked tapping my foor impatiently.

" Everyone's been talking about you. " This evil grin appeared on her face. " Poor girl. " 

" Amanda? Jealous much? " This other girl with ginger hair appeared in my defence. " Zip it you little emo wannabe and go back to your pathetic life along with your Marilyn Manson looking freakshow friends. " She spat out.

" Ouch. That just hurt my feelings Josie. " She gave me one last creepy smile and went back to her lunch table. 

" Sorry about her. She tends to freak people out but don't be scared she's all bark and no bite. " She giggled streching her hand towards me. " I'm Josie nice to meet you Heather. " 

" Nice to meet you too. And thanks....she did kind of freak me out. Wait, how do you know my name? " I asked all confused.

" What do you mean how do I know your name? Everyone knows your name. " She stated as if that was some kind of  fact that I had to know. " You're sitting with the Glorious Ones, you're their newest pet. " She coughed. "Member, I mean, member. " 

" What? " I asked furious of all the todays rude comments I heard in the last what..? 5 minutes?

" N-nothing. " She shuttered. " Hey do you wanna hang out after school? " She said in excitement.

No freaking way, I thought to myself. No wait, Yes! That would be perfect! She looks like the kind of person that knows everything about everyone! Maybe if I play the game I can actually use her and get some precious information out of her!

" Yes! Of course! " I said with a huge smile. " I gotta go now, it was nice meeting you Josie see you after school. " And so I left to go sit down with the guys.

As soon as I sat down I banged my head against the lunch table releasing a huge amount of air. " Now that was a nice way to start off my morning. " I whined.

" I'm wearing two different socks. Try winning this argument. " Nicky protested while chewing an apple.

" Your answer is invalid because you're an idiot Nicky Sanders. " Zeo giggled elbowing her.

Nicky sighed. " I'm not gonna argue with you Zeus Lysander Theron. The fact that I just said your full name is enough. " She striked back playfully.

" Hey guys where's Sawyer? " I asked full of concern.

" I don't know. I haven't seen him today or anything. " Logan shrugged his shoulders.

" Well maybe if your tongue wasn't in Audrey's mouh 24/7 you would actually know. " Zeo said pointing his finger at Audrey who was sitting on Logan's lap.

" He's probably just playin Fifa at home bro why you getting so annoyed? " Logan didn't pay any more attention to him and continued making out with Auds.

" Let's chill out at my place tonight. " said Fay who had been quiet until now. " Oh and Heather? What the hell did the freaks want from you? " She asked full of curiousity.

" Uh. " I shifted uncomfortably. " Nothing. This one girl just appeared out of nowhere and creepily told me that everyone's been talking about me and then this other one came up to me and asked me to hang out with her. " I answered casually.

" Oh no! " Audrey broke free from Logan's kiss to face me. " Don't hang out with Josie Lee. She's an annoying slut who loves to gossip about everything. I swear if she could, she would make up a rumour about rocks. " She said and immediately everyone laughed.

In order to not seem weird I forced myself to laugh. But so many things were racing through my mind at that exact moment. I had to find this girl and make sure we meet up. It was my top priority.

My phone buzzed arrogantly on the lunch table. I lazily picked it up only to find out it was a text from my mother. " Wow, talk about forever alone. " I muttered.

You are coming home straight after school. Oh no, you are not going anywhere today. Not today, not ever because we need to have a long chat Heather Dorothy Grimes. Oh and the same thing goes for your brother :) have a nice day! See you at home.

I grined. " I am so screwed. " 

I don't have time for my mothers PMS right now. I need to find out where Sawyer is. That's my top priority right now. After yesterdays events...
