Fast forward to just after the exams...
"I STILL can't believe you took up on Dumbledore's offer," laughed Tulip over her sandwich. "I mean... Come on, our time at Hogwarts is better spent pranking Flich than patrolling the hallways... Right?"
"Of course," replied Dani. "But I feel like it's time I stopped doing vault stuff, vault stuff and more vault stuff. I think I should start spending some time to do... What everyone else is doing. Like the prefect program right now. Plus, prefects get to dock points, so I'd like to see Ismelda and Merula escape my wrath NOW."
"But what about me? Or Tonks? Or other members of the vault squad?"
"Just don't tell Dumbledore that I'm secretly warranting all vault squad members. I'll have to get to Charms now, see you around."

"So you're in the prefect program as well, Charlie?"
"Yep. That on top of quidditch and dragons. Fifth year will be a crazy one for sure."
"Then again, I've been forewarned."
"Dani, I have an idea."
"What?"
"Let's both be Gryffindor prefects. We'll knock 'em all out."
"Deal."
