Well, the peace and quiet hadn't lasted long. When I had arrived back from my walk yesterday, Simon had told me all about their 'plan' to revive the channel.
Fake drama. Diss tracks.
I had told him that it was not going to end well, but he told me they had it all under control, so I decided to try and stay out of it as much as I could.
So far, JJ had made a video about leaving the Sidemen, and Ethan was due to release his disstrack at any point. Hopefully after that it would end, Simon told me it would be over after that, and so I just had to trust him.
It was early morning the next day, and Simon had been up all night on his computer, presumably on YouTube or something. I would've stayed in his room, but he was so busy that there would've been no point.
I had headed back to my room at around eleven last night, falling asleep at around one in the morning. Simon hadn't text or anything, so I decided to leave him to his own devices.
Eloise and Vik were still touring with Sophie, and Freya and Josh had said something about going out for the day, and obviously JJ was still in America, so it was just me and Simon in the house right now.
Well, it felt like it was just me right now, especially with everything going on.
My thoughts were interrupted when, suddenly, from all the way downstairs, I hear Simon screech my name. Like, genuinely screech.
"TALIAAAA! TALIA!" He yells, and I groan because I have to go all the way back upstairs for him.
"This better be good," I mumble under my breath, huffing as I go back upstairs. I enter his room, to see him staring at his computer screen, where - was that Deji?
Why was Deji on Simon's screen? I knew the two of them were friends, but he had never mentioned he watched Deji's videos.
"He did a disstrack! On the Sidemen - this wasn't part of the plan!" He spluttered in bewilderment.
Well, the 'plan' had already gone to shit, it seemed.
"So what happens now?" I ask, kneeling down next to his chair, where he was studying the screen.
"I'm not sure. Maybe I should make a disstrack back on him, I reckon it could be pretty good."
"Don't you need to talk to El first? You know, keep her in the loop and all that?" I asked, not wanting for him to get anymore involved than he already was.
"I'm sure Vik will tell her, it'll be fine. I can release a disstrack on him in no time, it'll be fine," he repeated, and I was starting to believe him less and less each time he said the word fine.
"But I-"
"Tee, it'll be fine, I promise. I'm just...making the best out of a bad situation. Don't worry too much about it, alright?" He said gently, and he looked at me with those eyes.
"Fine," I agreed. "But I'm staying out of it, don't expect me to get involved in any way," I told him, and he nodded his head up and down enthusiastically. He promised he wouldn't, and I was just about to leave when Simon gasped again. What the hell could possibly have happened now?
"Ethan just dropped his disstrack on JJ, holy shit!" Simon spoke, clicking onto the video. "You gonna watch?" He asked, and I shook my head. I wanted nothing to do with this, I wasn't going to watch any of it.
"Nope. I'm going to go up to my bedroom and just chill out. I bet if I stream all my comments will be about this stupid drama so I can't even do that. I'll see you later?" I asked, and he nodded, blowing a kiss my way.
