Hi! So obviously we are on chapter 33 and we've only really covered ten months..there could potentially be a few large time skips in coming chapters because you guys want to read the important stuff, not boring fillers! There won't be one in this chapter or the next one, but maybe ones after! Just so you're ready <3

also, I hope you're ready for this chapter...it's the longest i've EVER written and it's safe to say it gets a ... little bit dramatic don't say i don't treat you all x

"Happy Halloween!" I said cheerfully, walking into the kitchen that was occupied by everyone. Freya and Josh were eating some lunch, JJ and Simon were talking and Vik was on his phone. At the sound of my voice, they all looked up, replying to my words.

After the chatter died down a little, I made my way over to Vik. Eloise was due to arrive back today, she had insisted on getting a taxi back despite Vik's protests. I could tell he was nervous, and I had spoken to Eloise yesterday, she was nervous too.

"Hey Vik," I said softly, sitting down next to him at the island. His eyes briefly left his phone, smiling over at me but returned to looking at his phone. "You realise staring at your phone isn't going to make her come home quicker, right?" I ask, laughing softly.

He looked over me, but he wasn't smiling anymore. "I'm so scared, Talia," he whispered, and I noticed his grip on his phone tighten.

"Do you want to go out into the garden and talk?" I asked, worried about him now. He nodded his head slowly, getting up and walking out of the kitchen. Simon noticed, because he looked over at me but I shook my head, mouthing to him that I was handling it.

He cocked his head...I could tell he wanted to help, but right now there was nothing he could do. "I'm handling it," I whisper as I pass him, walking past before he has a chance to jut in.

The backdoor is already open by the time I leave the kitchen, and I see Vik sat out on the furniture, still checking his phone.

"Hey Vik," I say, catching his attention. He looks over at me, finally putting his phone down. "I thought you were looking forward to El coming back, I know she is," I tell him, sitting down next to him.

"I am looking forward to her coming back...I really am but I'm also scared shitless, it's been so long since I last properly saw her, what if I ruin it? Or mess it up? What if she ends it with me because-"

"Vik...how long have you known Eloise? Like, before she came to England for the first time, how long have you two known each other?"

"It was two years in September," he tells me.

"Two years is a long time...she's not going to leave you if you have a few bumps in the road."

"Isn't that what she just did? Leave me because we weren't working?"

"Yes, but you have to remember that for her it was going on a lot longer than we thought."

"Exactly! I was so oblivious to it all...what if I'm oblivious again...I don't want to mess this up again, I can't mess this up again, I can't lose her."

"Vik...she loves you, you love her...as long as you two communicate properly, you should be fine. I promise you. It's all about communication, honestly you-"

I was cut off by the sound of Vik's phone buzzing. "She's here," he spoke in a low voice, not moving.

"She's here as in arrived at the airport or she's here here?"
