Jason sat at the edge of the roof top, contemplating whether or not he should help Dick. He was on a building across from Dick fighting with Deathstroke.

Jason knew that Dick hated him for taking on the Red Hood persona. Jason accepted that but he didn't like it. Jason missed the man he loved.

Deathstroke swung his sword and cut Dick's leg and he was being cornered at the edge of the roof.

He's going to fall, Jason thought.

Then Deathstroke grabbed Dick by the neck and lifted him off the edge. Dick struggled to breathe, he tried to reach for his neck but his arms were broken so he couldn't move.

Deathstroke laughed at the weakened bird. He dropped Dick off the building and left, without waiting til the end.

Without thinking of the consequences, Jason leaped off the building and tackled Dick into the building's windows. Jason covered Dick's head so he wouldn't get hurt by the glass.

"Jason?" Dick said weakly.

"Yeah, don't talk, Dick." Jason replied as he lifted Dick onto his back.

"Why save me? After we rejected you?" Dick said as he let his eyes close.

Jason replied, "You're family. I'll always catch you."
