Jimin heard the news that the suspicious individual got captured. He rushed to the police station to confront the individual. Secretary Hong was driving his expensive Rolls Royce while Jimin ran his fingers through his long hair. He was furious at this person who has caused them pain but he was also nervous to see who it was. Secretary Hong spoke up giving some wise words to Jimin. "I know you are furious Jimin and it is understandable but move on from the past". "This person who committed these horrible deeds won't ever see daylight ever again". "They will spend their entire lives rotting in a jail cell". "Don't lower yourself to their standards". Jimin looked back at Secretary Hong with his jaw clenched. "You are right but you know that I can't control my anger". "This person hurt the people I care about... the people I love". "They can't be forgiven" Jimin replied. "I know that they can't be forgiven Jimin but you must break free and away from the chains and live an amazing life". "Don't let this person get inside your head". "Focus on the people who love and care about you". Jimin eased up his shoulders like the tension and stress that was on his mind was relived. "Thanks Secretary Hong" Jimin said giving a slight smile.
Both of them pulled up at Gangnam police station where the individual was being held. It looked like there was an interrogation room and the individual was being questioned. Since the chief officer got hurt the next high ranking officer took charge. He approached Jimin and bowed showing a sign of respect. "Today is a rough day at the station". "We lost 8 lives and several are injured". "Even though we caught them the moral is pretty low around here". Jimin looked at him with saddened eyes. "I am sorry for your loss". "I know it doesn't mean much but I will make a huge contribution to your police station as a thank you for your hard work on this case". The officer put his hand on Jimin's shoulder. "Thank you, that would be greatly appreciated". The officer led Secretary Hong and Jimin to the interrogation room where the individual was being held. "We did manage to find out the identity of the person". "I think you will be surprised to see who it is". "They are not giving us any information yet but eventually they will come around". Jimin looked at the officer in the eye. "Let me try...". The officer was hesitant at first but eventually he came around and let Jimin into the interrogation room.
The room was mainly gray colored with a brown table and two chairs. There were cameras watching just in case something happened. The individual had their head down while they were shackled in handcuffs on their arms and legs restraining them to the chair so they couldn't escape. The individual picked their head up to face Jimin and Jimin's eyes widened. "NO WAY, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT". he said in a broken voice. "HYERIN????!!!!!". Hyerin faced Jimin there were bruises on her neck and her leg was still twitching from the wound that Suga had dealt. "Yes Chim" she said unable to look him in the eyes. Jimin looked confused "I don't understand". "Why would you do such a thing???" "Hyerin, my life was literally a hell because of you!" "I was going insane because there was nothing I could do to protect the people I love" Jimin said while his veins were visible on his neck. "Chim isn't obvious?" "I wanted you... wait no I needed you". "My life would be miserable without you". "When I saw you with that girl I just snapped". "I just made a lot of decisions I shouldn't have but...". Jimin slammed the desk interrupting her mid-way through her sentence. "YOU ALMOST KILLED HER!" "You let jealousy take over and you made a lot of irrational decisions". "You stalked us and posted a private photo of us in Japan, you tried to disrupt the press conference, you almost killed Dahyun with a poisoned drink, you hurt my brother and his friends, and now you are responsible for 8 police officers deaths". "You must pay for what you have done". "I will make you that you don't kill yourself in that cold empty jail cell because you must suffer for what you have done".
Hyerin looked at Jimin shocked by his rant. "I wasn't there in Japan" she said looking him directly in the eye. "Then you probably hired someone..." "NO!" she yelled which made Jimin jump out of his seat. "I hired Jinwoo to disrupt your press conference, I poisoned Dahyun's drink, and I kidnapped Tzuyu to try to make you break up with Dahyun but I never even went to Japan and took a photo of you together". Jimin was taken aback at the statement. He could tell when Hyerin was lying because she would have that smug smirk on her face and she would act innocent but this time she was definitely telling the truth. Jimin just ignored the statement. He stood up from the chair and leaned forward to met Hyerin's eyes. "Goodbye forever" he said in a low tone before taking his leave. Each step that Jimin took, he felt like his legs had 10 lbs cinder blocks weighing him down. Secretary Hong was the first to greet him and pull him into a warm hug. Jimin who was furious before silently sobbed on Secretary Hong's shoulder. He was just glad that the ordeal was finally over. "Everything is going to be alright". Secretary Hong whispered in Jimin's ear while caressing his hair. This brought back memories when Secretary Hong would babysit a young Jimin. Little chim would cry a lot because he missed his parents who always seemed to be working and Secretary Hong would always be there to comfort him. Jimin couldn't help but think how good it would feel to be in Dahyun's arms...
