Jimin rushed home after Secretary Hong told him that Dahyun has been vomiting. Jimin drove quickly home in his white Rolls Royce. This is the first time he has seen Dahyun seriously sick. Then again he did notice in the past weeks that she wasn't eating well and her smooth milky skin looked paler than usual. Ever since they came back from their honeymoon something has been off. As Jimin rushed into the house, he saw Secretary Hong waiting outside the bathroom nervously. Jimin rushed to the bathroom door and knocked. "Dahyun, are you okay?" he said still worried for his wife. He still heard the sound of puking so he decided to enter the bathroom. He rushed to her side gently patting her back while Secretary Hong got some cold water. Jimin took the glass of cold water and raised it to her lips so he could drink it because she must have been exhausted from all of the throwing-up she did earlier.
"Dahyun-ah, I am worried..." Jimin said while caressing her hair and taking the glass of water away from her. "Let's go to the hospital to make sure that you are safe". Dahyun simply nodded as she was lightheaded. Jimin carried her to his car while Secretary Hong drove them to the hospital. The three of them got the VIP room in the hospital because of the Park family's known status. The one of the best doctors in Korea, Dr. Hwang checked up on Dahyun. After explaining the symptoms to the doctor his eyes widened. He asked Dahyun to take a urine test and send it to their lab for further inspection. After for about 30 minutes, Dr. Hwang came back with a bright smile on his face. "Congratulations!!!" "Mrs. Park you are pregnant". Jimin and Dahyun were in shock. Jimin jumped up and down like a happy kid. This was definitely exciting news because now he is officially a father. Dr. Hwang explained the pregnancy process from the ultrasound to the actual delivery of the baby. Secretary Hong has been through this process because he was with Jimin's mother when she was pregnant with little chubby Park Jimin.
After the news Jimin stuck to his wife like glue. He didn't even leave her side once, he even insisted on coming with her to the comfort room in which Dahyun smacked his chest for his stupidity. Jimin wasn't alone in taking care of Dahyun. Mr. Kim and Jimin's parents helped Dahyun when Jimin was at work. Secretary Hong was the most experienced in these types of situations so when Dahyun would get moody and Jimin would give that same concerned look, Secretary Hong would console him and tell him that he needed to be patient as it was just hormones. After a month, they could finally visit the doctor for the ultrasound reading. Dr. Hwang used the ultrasound monitor and saw what looked like two small beans. Usually after 7 weeks you can hear the heartbeat of the baby and Dr. Hwang heard two. It was official that Dahyun was pregnant with twins.
Jimin was so excited as he held onto Dahyun's hands. Dahyun was excited too, in the next 7-8 months she will be giving birth. It was a nerve racking but an exciting experience. Dr. Hwang decided to leave the couple alone so they could have time to themselves. Jimin started to whisper to the babies as if they could hear him. "Appa is going to take good care of you" Jimin said while rubbing his nose in Dahyun's belly. Dahyun just giggled because it gave her a ticklish feeling. "Jimin do you think it is a boy or a girl?" Jimin looked into Dahyun's dark orbs, "It doesn't matter to me what the gender is". I am glad that I am a father now". Dahyun caressed Jimin's cheeks and pulled him in for a quick kiss. Jimin kissed Dahyun's belly one more time before intertwining their hands to head out for the hospital.
After the news Jungkook decided to surprise his hyung along with the Bangtan boys, Sana and Tzuyu. They bought tons of gifts, it was almost like an unofficial baby shower. They knew the babies were twins but no one knew the gender. Jimin and Dahyun wanted to keep the gender disclosed until Dahyun gave birth. Taehyung and Tzuyu had a feeling that the baby was going to be a girl so they bought all girl's apparel while Jungkook and Sana had a feeling that the baby was going to be a boy so they bought all boy's apparel. RM just shook is head while looking at the two couples who argued whether the baby was going to be a girl or a boy. I mean how petty can these four be. RM pulled out his gift which was a baby stroller. "Can you guys buy something that it is at least gender neutral?" "I mean one couple is bound to be wrong". Jungkook proudly pumped out his chest. "I'm 100% sure it is going to be a boy". Taehyung snapped back. "Nah!" "The baby is going to be a girl I'm calling it". J-Hope was just laughing in the background. "You said that we are immature but look at you guys fighting over what gender the baby is going to be". Suga and Jin couldn't help but laugh too joining in on the fun. Jimin and Dahyun thanked everybody for there continued support with the pregnancy but as the sun started to set Jimin suggested at he needed to help Dahyun get some rest. "I am happy for you guys but once you have a child you can kiss your youth goodbye" Jin said. It was only 8:00 pm but they had to go to bed. Jin was right the pregnancy was wearing both of them down. Now they act like an old couple even though they are in their mid-twenties.
After 8 months...
Jimin woke up from his slumber to hear Dahyun screaming in pain. He came to her side immediately and saw her holding her mid-section. "Chim... take me to the hospital... I think.... my water broke...." Dahyun said out of breath. Jimin called over Secretary Hong once again to drive them to the hospital. Once they arrived Dahyun was transported on a stretcher to the VIP Surgery Room. Dr. Hwang was also an expert surgeon so he was the main operator. Eventually the entire Park family including friends were there to give support. Jimin was frantically pacing back and forth around the hospital until Jimin's mother had to grab him to make him stop. "Chimmy, I went through the same thing as Dahyun with you". "She is going to be okay". "Just sit down and relax. Jimin's father nodded "You should have seen me when your mother was pregnant with you". "I pretty sure I asked every doctor I could find in the hospital whether my wife was okay". "You just have to believe that the doctors will do their job". Jimin was reassured by his father's words and breathed a sigh of relief.
Dr. Hwang allowed the rest of the family and friends to come into the room to give Dahyun support because it was time to push the baby out. Jimin held onto his wife's hands tightly. "Dubu you got this" he said showing a cheerful smile. The distressed Dahyun managed to smile back. Dr. Hwang carefully said "Mrs. Park I want you to push with all of your strength". Dahyun grunted and moaned as she tried to push harder. "You are doing a great job babe!" "Keep pushing!" Jimin cheered on. Finally the babies popped out and the nurses were able to hand the twins to Dahyun who was lying exhausted on the bed. "This one is a girl and the other one is a boy but they are identical" one of the nurses said. Dahyun and Jimin smiled happily at each other taking turns at holding each one of them. It is a good thing that they were prepared with girl and boy names to give them. The boy was named Jaemin and the girl was named Ji-young. The nurses took both babies to the nursery to clean them up. After the paperworks they will be able to take the twins home. RM just chuckled "I guess you were both wrong". The Sakook and Taetzu couple just facepalmed. They were arguing about the gender the whole time but it turned out they had a boy and a girl. Jimin kissed Dahyun's hand as family and friends laughed together at this joyous moment.
