Dahyun woke up laying next to Jimin in the bed. She blushed thinking about what Jimin's parents said yesterday about becoming their daughter in-law. The Dahmin couple slept next to each other but nothing happened. Mainly because they were tired after eating so many delicious foods prepared by the world-class chefs. The chefs must have put the whole family in a food coma because Dahyun was the only one awake. She decided to go outside to the garden to get some fresh air. Suddenly, there was an incoming call and she saw the caller ID: "Appa". Her eyes lit up as she answered the call. "Appa!" "How are you doing?" Dahyun's father chuckled on the other side of the line. "I'm doing fine sweetheart". "My condition is good since I got the surgery". "By the way, how did you manage to pay for my surgery wasn't it expensive?" Dahyun blushed at the thought of Jimin who heroically saved her dad's life. She always wanted a boyfriend who resembled her father. Someone who was hard-working and reliable. She was lucky enough to find someone special like Jimin who is the saving grace in her life.
"My boyfriend helped me pay for it" she said shyly. There was long silence and the other end of the line before Dahyun's father fake coughed. "Ermmm". "This boyfriend what is his name" he said with a bit of overprotectiveness in his voice. "Park Jimin". The name shocked Dahyun's father". "THE CEO OF PARK CORPORATIONS????!!!!" he yelled causing Dahyun to pull the phone away from her ear and reduce the volume on the speaker phone. "Yes" she said. "If you have been dating him then what about the coffee shop?" Dahyun's father said worriedly. "The business is under Park Corporations and they even hired staff to run the business effectively". "We might even get to renovate the coffee shop soon and make it even bigger". All of these statements shook Dahyun's dad to the core. He was certainly outmatched. A wealthy chaebol who has bought his coffee shop and payed for his surgery seems like a good guy but he might have pursued those actions to steal his precious daughter away from him. He gritted his teeth slightly, "I want to meet both of you at the coffee shop today". "Of course Appa" Dahyun said happily. She was excited to see her future husband meet her father.
Jimin woke up to see his Dubu gone. He grunted as he was sore and didn't feel like getting up. But he wanted to see Dahyun so he got up anyway. He exited the room to see his parents, Sana, Tzuyu, and his coconut head brother. All of them were still tired because of the large dinner they had last night. Mr. and Mrs. Park slept together in the master bedroom while Sana, Jungkook, and Tzuyu slept together in the guest room. Tzuyu and Sana slept on the king sized bed while Jungkook slept on the floor. In fact this was Jungkook's recommendation because if he spent the night with Sana he wouldn't be able to control his carnal desires so he asked Tzuyu to sleep with her instead. Secretary Hong bowed at the tired bunch. "I hope that sirs and madams had a very good sleep". "Breakfast is served" he said with a warm smile on his face. Dahyun came out of the gardens to see the group eating breakfast. "Miss Kim please join us for breakfast" Secretary Hong said. Dahyun simply nodded and smiled.She sat next to Jimin who gave her a warm eye-smile.
Jimin took a couple of scallion pancakes from his plate and put them on Dahyun's plate. "Enjoy the meal my sunshine" he said showing his dimples as Dahyun blushed. Jungkook scoffed at Jimin's statement. "Can you be any more cringe?" Jimin gave a death-glare at Jungkook while Jungkook returned the favor almost as if they were in an intense staring contest. Their parents laughed at the boys "Brings back memories" Mr. Park said. "Yes, yeobo they haven't changed". "They were like this when they were kids" Mrs. Park said while teasing them. Tzuyu, Sana, and Dahyun burst into laughter while Jungkook and Jimin hung their heads in shame. As they were finishing breakfast Dahyun tapped Jimin's shoulder. "Yes love?" he said sweetly. "My dad recently recovered from the surgery and he is discharged". "He wants to see you today" she said with a bright smile. "This is great news, I can't wait to see him" Jimin said enthusiastically. "Secretary Hong cancel all of my business meetings today". "Yes sir" Secretary Hong replied. "On that note we should probably get going Jungkook we can't be late to class or else professor will scold us". Jungkook agreed and left the table abruptly to get his motorcycle. "Yeah, I should probably leave too to check up on Taehyung". "He might be awake soon" Tzuyu said with a slight smile. The Sakook couple left along with Tzuyu as Jimin and Dahyun got ready to leave to see Dahyun's father.
This time Jimin wanted to drive the Rolls-Royce without Secretary Hong escorting them. He really wanted to make a good impression on Dahyun's father. He thought long and hard about what his parents said last night. Jimin envisioned his future and Dahyun is in it. He wants her to be his wife, to build a family with her. It was love at first sight and now he is absolutely ready to take the next step. Jimin pulled over next to the coffee shop. Dahyun looked over see Jimin adjusting his hair making sure it looked good. She unbuckled her seat belt and adjusted his neck tie. Jimin was wearing a suit as if he was going to work or attending a business meeting. "Don't worry Chim, my dad will love you". She tried to do some aegyo to try to cheer Jimin up. Jimin couldn't help but smile at her actions. They both got out of the car as Jimin held Dahyun's hand tightly not letting go. Mr. Kim was waiting outside patiently and frowned at the sight of the couple. "It is a pleasure to meet you Mr. Kim" Jimin said while bowing. He let go of Dahyun's hand and offered a handshake which Mr. Kim accepted. "It is a pleasure meeting you too Jimin" Mr.Kim said as he tightly squeezed Jimin's hand while smiling. Jimin forced a smile as his hand was being squeezed to death by Mr. Kim. Park Jimin was used to pleasing sponsors and business clients but Mr. Kim was a different monster...
