CHAPTER 06

"I'm waiting for you to cook breakfast."

"Ha?" Gulantang kong tanong.

Ryle looked away when his eyes went down to my chest. My mouth went agape before I realized how embarrassing this situation is. So, without saying another word, I quickly return to my room and take a bath. After that, I went downstairs confidently, like nothing really awkward had happened.

"Bakit nandito ka pa? Hindi ka papasok?" I asked him.

"Pupunta akong Cebu," Sagot niya.

"Bakit?"

"Mom ask me to check our resort there. It's under renovation. I have to facilitate for a couple of days."

"Uh," I nodded. "Sige, I'll cook breakfast muna."

He nodded without even looking at me. I went straight in the kitchen and look for something to cook. Since, I'm new to this, I decided to cook bacon and egg. I also watched on YouTube on how to cook sinangag. It's not really easy but I think I wasn't really bad at cooking and the taste seems good. I also prepared coffee even though it's almost 11. Ryle is such a coffee person.

"Kain na." Anyaya ko sa kanya.

He stood up and went in the kitchen. He sat on the center while I'm besides him.

"Anong oras flight mo?"

"4 pa..."

I nodded. Wala narin tuloy akong masabi pa. Bakit naman parang ang awkward namin? I should learned my lessonㅡ not to go downstairs after I wake up to prevent this awkward situation.

"I'll be back on Saturday. Sa Sunday ha," he said, reminding me.

I bit the side of my cheeks while nodding. It's already Wednesday. Almost four days siya roon. At, once palang ata akong nakapunta sa resort namin sa Cebu. Ang madalas roon ay sina Tita Beth at Daddy. Ngayong under renovation pa pala ay mas gaganda iyon. Even before, our resort looks so good. Hindi dahil bias ako but for my own preference pasok talaga sa panlasa ko ang kabuuan nang resort.

Maybe Dad send Ryle since he's an Architect. Ang galing kaya ni Ryle!

"Okay. I'm planning to buy a dress na today."

He arch his brows then nodded. "Anong oras?"

"Around 1?" I said, not even sure. "I'll text Kylie pa."

"I can drop you off in the mall. Aalis din ako ng 1. May pupuntahan pa ako bago dumiretso sa airport." He explained.

Pinaglalaruan ko ang kutsara ko habang tumatango. Nang matapos kami ay ako narin ang naghugas nang mga pinagkainan namin at pinabalik ko na siya sa ginagawa niya para naman makapag-ayos narin siya kapag natapos na siya.

"Sa kwarto na muna ako para makagayak na," sabi ko sa kanya.

"Okay. I'll just finish this."

Habang paakyat ako ay napaisip ako kung maayos na ang mga dadalin ni Ryle. Matagal-tagal din siya roon kahit papaano pero siguro okay narin naman na. Agad ko rin namang tinext si Kylie para magpasama.

Babe? Anong ginagawa mo?

Ilang minuto lang ay nag-reply na siya?

From: Kylie
Why?

To: Kylie
Samahan mo ako sa mall.

From: Kylie
Sige! Anong oras?

Tinext ko na siya para sa oras at sinabi ko narin na doon nalang kami magkita. I also took a bath quickly and get myself ready. Anytime kasi pwede nang mag-aya si Ryle, almost 1 narin.
