chapter eight

I made my way down to the pool that looked like this;

I found a lounge chair and started to lay on it for a few minutes, and then walked over to the pool for a swim. 

-- A few hours later--

I decided to walk back over to the room, and wrapped my white towel over my body. As I got onto the elevator, I couldn't stop thinking about what Ant said. It's not even true.

Whatever. 

I walked back to my penthouse, and knew that Noah wasn't there.I took a quick shower and changed into a simple outfit;

I decided to take a quick nap to stop thinking about everything. I fell asleep quickly.

I was woken up with a loud door slap.

n- shit y/n i didn't know you were sleeping. I'm sorry.

y/n- no it's fine i guess. what's up?

n- oh nothing. we finished the movie.

I smiled.

y/n- did you get scared?

n- nope. oh ant wanted me to tell you that we're all going out for dinner in a few hours. do you wanna come?

y/n- totally. where are we eating?

n- uhh I'm not sure. you gotta ask him that. 

y/n- oh okay. 

I started walking up the stairs.

n- y/n?

y/n- yeah?

He had a worried look on his face.

n- actually nevermind. I'll tell you later.

y/n- alright. whatever. 

I rolled my eyes and walked back to the bathroom to change into a different outfit.

I did my hair in a high ponytail and left the bathroom.

It was getting around 5:30 by then, so I grabbed my key card and went to go meet Bryce, Noah, and Ant. Ant was sitting on the couch, while Bryce and Noah were nowhere to be found.

I stood by Ant.

y/n- where's the rest?

a- upstairs. what's up with the dress?

y/n- it was the only dress i had? okay?

a- so your not just doing it to impress noah?

y/n- why would i do that?

a- cause he likes you.

y/n- oh my god, once again HE DOESN'T.

a- just wait until he sees you.

I rolled my eyes and went on my phone. I saw Noah and Bryce walk down the stairs and looked at Noah, to see what his reaction would be. I noticed Ant was looking as well.

n- oh uh y/n you look nice.

He looked down at the floor and then a wall.

Okay, maybe he was right? Strange.

b- yall ready to go?

y/n- yeah.

I found out that we were eating at The Capital Grille, which I never ate at before. Ant told the host our reservation, and the host lead us to our table. I ordered a Strawberry Lemonade, of course, and I forgot what the others ordered. 

After the waiter put our orders in, Ant started a conversation.

a- so noah i have a question for you..

n- sure, what's up?

I took a drink of my lemonade.

a- do you like y/n?

I choked on my lemonade. I wish I could kick Ant's foot, but he was sitting diagonal from me.
