Pagkatapos naming kumain ni Zack sakto naman at may tumawag sa kaniya.

“I’ll take this call,” he said and I only nodded.

Hindi ko alam kung seryoso na pag-uusap ba talaga iyon. More like a question and answer portion pero hindi talaga ganoon ka seryoso.

“Yes, dad. I’m in a restaurant. Sure. Bye,” dinig kong sabi niya sunod-sunod sa tawag.

I act like I didn’t heard anything and continued to scroll on my phone.

“By the way, Zen. Thank you for this and sorry about earlier. I wanna stay and chat with you for a moment, but my dad called me. We’re leaving later.”

“I am fine Zack. It is not your obligation to wait for me though,” I smiled just to give him assurance.

“Just enjoy the food and it’s my treat,” he said but I am not honored about him treating me for a meal. I mean, my ego won’t let him pay for me.

“Thanks, but no. I’m good. I have money to pay for my bill. No need to treat me.” I smiled once again.

Take note that’s my pride talking in behalf of me. I prefer na ako ang nanglilibre kesa sa ako ang nililibre.

“Please let me pay for today’s meal since it’s our first time dining in. Take it as a thank you for meeting such a good fan like you,” he said. Well okay lang naman iyon.

May ipagmamayabang ako na nag-dine in kami ni Zack tapos libre niya pa! Hmm, I should agree to him.

“Okay you can do that,” I said to him shortly, medyo nahiya pa kasi nakakahiya naman talaga malibre.

I mean, nalibre na ako ng mga friends ko pero hinahayaan ko sila kasi nililibre ko rin naman sila pabalik. On Zack’s case, hindi ko alam kung magkikita pa ba kami ulit kaya sigurado akong hindi ko siya malilibre pabalik.

“So, can I ask a picture of the two of us? It feels like it is so good looking at our outfits, it complemented very well,” he said that made me look into our outfits.

A surprising look takes over me when I realized what he is wearing and damn it!

Bakit ngayon ko pa lang nakita nang lubusan ang outfit niya? It is exactly the same as mine. He is also wearing a white shirt, I guess that’s Givenchy and a black sweatpants. Woah! Color palette of the day?

Our outfits really looks the same! Well except for the brands.

“You are asking for a photo together?” I ask while pointing him and myself in a curious tone.

“Yes, if it’s okay with you.”

“Wow! It is so nice of you asking a photo with me. I mean ang sikat mo at walang-wala ako sa ’yo tapos gusto mo ng picture nating dalawa?” Gulat kong tanong sa kaniya. “Are you making fun of me San Jose?” Ngumisi ako sa paraang parang hindi ako naniniwala.

“Bakit? Is it forbidden to ask a photo with someone if you’re famous?” Tanong niya rin na hindi makapaniwala.

He clearly didn’t get my point. Ang akin, halos ang mga fans ang nanghihingi ng picture kapag nakakakita sa kanilang mga idol. Pero sa sitwasyon namin, bakit kabaliktaran yata ang nangyayari? Is it because I am not showing too much affection to him as my idol, or I am just trying to keep my cool?

“Okay then, at nang makaalis ka na,” kalmadong sabi ko sa kaniya.

He immediately went to ask one of the waitress to capture us. Ako ang nahihiya kasi siya pa talaga ang gumawa ng paraan para makunan kami ng larawan. I think tama naman kasi siya naman ang nagyaya, hindi ba?
