Too Much

I didn't bother replying Zack. Instead I put my phone back to my sling bag and enjoy with my friends.

"Girl? Don't you have plans on inviting us over on your legality?" Sarcastic question from Issa.

"Come on guys. You know that you all are invited but I can't give an invitation cards yet, they are still working on it," I explained.

It is true that they're still working on it and I didn't know if they have plans on letting me know about it.

"Saan daw gaganapin Zen?" Tanong ni Layzelle.

Seriously I can't answer their questions because I don't know a thing regarding my birthday.

"I don't know. Mom won't let me know, I just entrusted the preparations to them."

"Nice. It seems like a surprise," ani Glydell.

For me it isn't a surprise kasi alam ko naman na birthday ko so expected na ganoon talaga.

"I think it's not Glydell. I know that the preparation is for my birthday. I'm not that excited though," medyo malungkot ko pang sabi. I know why I am not excited and why I am kind of sad about it.

Zack didn't reply about the invitation, ibang reply ang natanggap ko galing sa kaniya. Hindi niya ba nakita 'yong invitation? Should I send it again? But duh, I will looked too desperate if I will do such an act. Baka isipin niya na umaasa talaga ako na pupunta siya!

"Change topic! Zen, I saw a photo on Instagram. Zack's photo to be exact with a girl." Sabi niya na nagpakaba sa akin. Nagpatuloy siya sa pagsalita. "And the girl looks like you. But I don't bother believing because parang impossible naman hindi ba? Well maniniwala lamang ako kapag sinabi mo na ikaw o hindi 'yon."

Yeah right! Hindi ko sila nasabihan tungkol dito! How will I say this?

"I m-met him..." I trailed off to see their reaction.

"You what!?" Sabay tanong ng mga babae na siyang dahilan kung bakit nabaling ang atensyon ng mga lalaki sa amin.

"What's wrong?" Baling ni Jes sa amin. This is not happening!

Lord, help. I know Issa and Layzelle doesn't have filters on their mouth. Sana po huwag n'yo po silang hayaang magsalita.

"Well, our Zen right here met her idol. Zack to be specific and did have a photo together," natatawang usal ni Layzelle. God! Sabi ko na nga ba hindi ito makapigil.

"And oh! I remembered he captioned it with 'My Z' why is that?" Tanong ni Issa.

"Guys, huwag kayong gan'yan. Let Zen share what happened back in Manila huwag n'yong ganiyanin," sabi ni Gladys.

I am thankful with Gladys' words. It silenced them. I know I can never keep things from them kasi kung active ako sa social media, ganoon din sila. It's only a matter of seconds that they will burst out once again asking me for an answer about their questions. Wala akong ibang paraan kung hindi ay magsabi ng totoo.

"Apparently, we are in the same hotel. We saw - no, we bumped each other before I went to the hotel's restaurant. I know it's a bit of a weird situation, but it did happen. Plus, about the pictures...we took it together after we had our breakfast," kalmadong paliwanag ko sa kanila.

I gestured a thumbs up to them. Asking them if it is enough of an explanation and gladly I receive a slow nod from everybody.

"Hello! It is a five-star hotel. Meeting celebrities or any famous personalities is a very common scene in areas like that, don't you agree?" Tanong ni Glydell at tumango-tango naman sina Jes.
