'This place always did give me the creeps.'

Yunhee nodded in agreement, a tingle of apprehension tickling her spine as she and Jin glanced at the building. 'You and me both.'

The warehouse at Gimpo docks loomed beside the river, its portentous presence a sharp reminder of the horrors that had occurred.

Spiteful words, malevolent actions, ear-splitting gunfire.

And yet, somewhere within the cavernous walls, a mediocre stone lay embedded in the floor, whispering promises of a new adventure.

For Yunhee, it was the promise of a reunion, but the radiant rays of afternoon light threatened any chance of the vortex coming to life. She was not super adept on how the portal worked, but she understood the importance of a storm, something she'd tried to explain to Jin on several occasions this past week.

'I should have worn my trainers,' the dapper man grumbled as he hopped over broken pieces of brick. 'Do you have any idea how much these shoes cost?'

Yunhee - who was three paces behind - spared a quick peek at the leather loafers adorning Jin's feet as she scurried to keep up. 'You own trainers?'

'Of course, I do,' Jin scoffed while wrenching open the heavy iron door. 'Have you seen my physique? How else do you think I keep in shape?'

Yunhee's eyes were glued to the back of his sky-blue shirt as he stepped into the shadowy structure.

Jin's appearance was impressive, his silky hair flopping into his russet eyes, his smooth forearms displayed beneath his rolled-up sleeves. Those charming assets - combined with his wide shoulders and narrow hips - left the man looking like a sculpted Grecian statue.

The splotchy tattoo exhibited on his right arm, however, was a debatable addition, but Yunhee reckoned it was too soon to broach that subject.

'Good God,' Jin mewled as he entered the large chamber, 'it's like a scene from Hostel. Remind me why I brought you here again?'

'Because,' Yunhee replied as she tripped through the entrance, 'I wanted to check the place out, and you finally agreed after days of me "pestering", as you so eloquently put it.'

'Excuse me for having a business to run,' Jin huffed as his gaze skimmed the mouldy brickwork, 'despite Jimin's untimely absence, there's still work to be done.'

'How difficult can bribery be?' Yunhee quipped, ignoring the jerk of shock from Jin as she scanned the broken windows and swinging ceiling lights.

Three days ago, Jin returned from the House of Cards and offhandedly suggested that they head to Gimpo as he made her a cup of hot cocoa in the kitchen.

Thrilled at the prospect, and eager to see if there were any signs of Jimin coming home, Yunhee insisted they head out when it was raining. Befuddled, Jin argued that they leave on a brighter day, mainly because he didn't want to get wet and ruin his overpriced clothing.
