"Hey girl, you're cool, you're unexplainable..."

Nakabibinging hiyawan ang maririnig sa loob ng Dream High Academy Hall as the new debuted rookie group Touch5 gave their final line of their song Hey Girl on the New Artists Day Celebration. Loud claps, loud I Love You's and loud congratulations from the fans and from the students of the academy made Shanelle grits her teeth in disgust.

Oo, nandoon siya. She's at the debut stage of her ex-boyfriend Gabrielle Lee, and that's a million thanks to her best assistant friend Jam na kaya nang gibain ang buong gymnasium sa lakas ng tili niya. Jammier Yu is one of Shanelle's best friends. Yes, she has a couple of best friends pero kay Jam siya pinaka close since siya ang lagi niya nakakasama sa school. She has a girl best friend also which is Rizalane Kim, na kababata niya kasama ni Gabrielle.

Gabrielle Lee is her childhood sweetheart. Bago maging sila, they became bestfriends since magkakaibigan na sila nila Riza mula pagkabata. But then, he dumped her. And made her a laughingstock to everyone.

Balik tayo kay Jam, si Jam ang pinaka slowpoke sa kanilang magkakaibigan. Palaging bagsak sa klase kasi ang mas inaatupag niya ay ang pag attend sa mga concert ng mga idols niya. Lagi ding tagilid ang English niya kaya minsan pinagkakatuwaan siyang i bully ng iba niyang mga kaibigan. Di niya maintindihan kung bakit kalalake niyang tao ay nahilig siya sa boy groups.

Oo, lalake siya pero girl at heart. Pero walang makakapagsabing bading siya kasi di naman siya cross-dresser. Gwapo nga siya eh, sayang lahi.

"Hey, it is almost five damn minutes since those dimwits disappeared from the stage. Pwede ka na bang tumigil sa pambobomba sa tenga ko ng tili mo at umalis na tayo dito? Para kang di lalake like duh?" nanggagalaiti sa inis na sambit ni Shanelle as she picked her ringing phone. She even felt more enraged when Gabrielle's picture popped out of the screen. I haven't changed my caller ID yet. Or better to just buy a new phone.

Tawagin man siyang crazy idiot or bitter pero dahil sa nangyari sa kanila ni Gab, or can we say, what Gab did to her, she already hated him. She hates him for being cool. She hates him for being handsome. She hates him for having a lot of girls drooling over him. And most of all, she hates him for playing with her feelings and making her fall head-over-heels over him. Three years din yung nasayang.

Maliwanag pa sa ala-ala niya ang nangyari 2 months ago. Nagpunta siyang ospital that time para dalawin si Gab dahil na injure ang kaliwang paa niya during their photoshoot.

Pagkabukas niya ng pinto, nakita niya itong nakikipaghalikan sa ibang babae.

"How about your girflfriend?" narinig niyang sambit ng babae as she carresses his hair.

"Yung nerd na 'yon? Nah, c'mon do you think I really loved her?" he chuckled.

"Anak siya ng Chairman of the Board, of course I have to flirt with her in order to achieve my dreams."

"Di ba kababata mo siya? She's your childhood sweetheart."

"Yeah. But we are not children anymore. And we have changed. I changed. At eto na ako ngayon."

Shanelle who is just a few inches away from them looked at them blankly. Parang gumuho ang mundo ni Shanelle pagkarinig sa sinabi ni Gab.

After all these years na pinagsamahan nila, di niya inexpect na ganito pala ang role niya lang sa buhay ng lalake - and that is to be an accessory for him to reach his dreams.
