"My soul made love,
to your soul long before,
Our bodies met. When I first lay,
My eye on you,
I recognized you.You held my future,
In your hands."

Sitting in my office chair, I sift through paperwork on land disputes between two Alphas, rogue issues, vampires draining too much blood, and witches being bitches.
My entire body trembles with restlessness, and my Demon growls within me, yearning to take control and return to his mate. Mate.
Ah, my beautiful little flower, how I long to check on her, gaze into those big, pure, innocent brown-golden eyes, caress those flushed cheeks, pinch her little nose, and kiss those red rose-petal lips passionately. I want to hold her soft, small, fragile form in my arms, hide her within me so no one can see her beauty and innocence, so no one can harm her until there is no me, only her.
That's my wish, my desire, so much more than words can express. I'm not a man who can play with words to impress others, especially not her. She deserves action.
I still can't believe she's here, in my room. Eighteen years, eighteen long years since I knew I had a Mate. I finally have someone to love, to care for, to cherish.
It took all my restraint not to just go and get her, but I knew the consequences would be dire because of that bloody curse. The last thing I wanted was for her to get hurt because of me, but it happened. She got hurt. How weak she was when I found her. My blood boils, and my demon growls and whimpers, restless when she didn't wake up for two days.
I realized I didn't deserve her the moment I felt her, and no one else did either. I knew it was all because of me, but I couldn't help it. I'm a selfish man. Well, not even a man. I'm so evil. I don't care what they think, not that they're wrong, but all I care about is what my little flower thinks of me.
She is my hope, my reason to live again, to know what it feels like to be loved. I want to hear her bubbling melodic voice all day. It sounds like peaceful, soft music to my ears. I want to give her anything, anything her little heart desires, even my life, if she asks for it.
How would it feel if she felt even a fraction of what I feel for her? But that will never happen. Someone as pure as she could never fall for someone as evil as me. She will hate me when she learns about me, about what I did to her. She is an angel, and I... I am called Lucifer.
I don't know why people call me these stupid names.
A knock interrupts me. I permit the person to enter. "Majesty, Miss did not open the door and refused to have anything." I nod at the Butler as he bows and leaves without making eye contact. They are even afraid to look at me, and my Beast likes it.
I'm not surprised that she refused. Why wouldn't she be scared? But I can't just let her go now that I've finally found her, not when they all might know I have a Mate.
I crave her attention. I want to spend every single second of my life with her from now on, but that won't be enough for me.
My demon whimpers again at the thought of his mate not being close to us and growls because she hasn't eaten yet. She is so weak. I need to make her eat so she can take her medicine and, first of all, apologize to her.
I was about to get up when my office door knocked again, revealing my two trusted people, Ama, the unmated werewolf royal warrior, and Josh, the vampire royal warrior.
"Majesty, congratulations on finding our queen." They congratulate me, smiling brightly. My chest swells with pride as they call her their queen, without even meeting her. I nod at them in return.
