"Okay Appa, lets take a break here." Aang airbended himself off of the flying bison and landed on a natural ice formation. I climbed down from Appa and settled myself on the small indent below him. Appa let out a groan.

"I know Appa, I liked her too."

I looked down at the hem of my dress and started twisting it around my fingers. I'm not sure if we were ever going to see them again... and where would we even go?  But before I could even start a conversation, black snow was swirling around us. The scent of smoke filled my lungs and I let out a cough.

"Aang, *cough* what is this stuff?"

"Y/N look! A ship is breaking through the walls!"

We both rush back, as Aang tells Appa to wait there for us. My boots feel like they are sticking to the snow, like I'm slowly inching my way towards the ship. I watch in horror as the hull sends the walls crumbling away in its path. I ran through the entrance of the village only to see Sokka being pushed into the snow by someone wearing red and black armor. I rush over and help him up, and it takes a second for him to recognize who I am before he offers me a little smile.

"Thanks," Sokka swiftly says before running back at the man, only to be pushed down once more. I fumbled around myself looking for a weapon of some sort, and grabbed a switchblade out of my boot. I held it firmly by the jade handle and with a flick of the wrist, the blade appeared before my eyes.

I hope I still remember how to use this, I think to myself as I run towards the commotion. Once I arrive on the scene, Aang slides through the legs of the metal-plated boy on the back of a penguin to reveal a teenager with a long ponytail.

"Hey Katara! Hey Sokka!"

The small moment of bliss is interrupted by the advancement of the soldiers. Aang began to airbend the snow surrounding him as I rushed towards the mass of villagers, and stood next to Katara and Sokka.

"You're the Avatar?" The scarred boy asked.

Katara wore a worried look on her face, "Aang?"

"No way."

The siblings turned to me, and to confirm what they just heard I offered them a sheepish smile and shrugged.

"You're just a child!"

Aang slightly let his tight grasp on his glider slip in confusion, "Well, you're just a teenager."

The teenager began to firebend at Aang, and the rest of guards began their attack. Katara rushed the children to safety and Sokka tried to counter the others while I took on a couple myself. I managed to sweep my leg out, and cause a man to collapse on the ice. I pulled out my switch blade just moments before a group of citizens let out a shriek. I turned my head and rushed over to Aang's side to help, but he stopped fighting.

"There's two of you?" The unnamed boy spat.

"If Y/N and I go with you, will you promise to leave everyone alone?" I looked at him with pure bewilderment.

What does he think he's doing?

I felt a strong hands on my shoulders and flinched causing me to drop my blade, my only defense, into the charred snow. Aang and I were lead onto the ship, but neither of us fought against them. I know he has a plan and my best bet is to play along.

"Don't worry! We'll be fine!" Aang enthusiastically said to the tribe, looking over his shoulder.

"Yeah!" I join in, "We'll be okay." I try to look hopeful, but I'm only met with distressed stares. Then we are swallowed into the belly of the ship.
