We're flying through another mountain range, and Aang has been pacing around on Appa's saddle for the past twenty minutes. I've tried to calm him down a couple times but he just wont stop. Since Aang has been having a mental crisis, Sokka took over with steering, Katara and I sitting in the back.

"Would you sit down? If we hit a bump you'll go flying off," Sokka scolds, forgetting the fact that Aang's an airbender. "What's bugging you anyway?"

"It's what Avatar Roku said. I'm supposed to master all four elements before that comet arrives."

"Well, let's see. You pretty much mastered airbending, and that only took you a hundred-n-twelve years. I'm sure you can master three more elements by next summer."

"I haven't even started waterbending, and we're still weeks away from the North Pole," Aang places his hands on top of his head, resuming his nervous pacing. "What am I gonna do?!"

Katara grabs Aang's wrist, pulling him down to sit with us. She holds both of his hands, creating eye contact, "Calm down, it's gonna be okay. If you want, I can try to teach you some of the stuff I know."

"You'd do that?"

She nods her head in response, and leads him over to the edge of the saddle. Maybe I should tell them about when I figured out I'm a waterbender...
I'll do it later though.

"We need to find a good source of water first."

Sokka looks over his shoulder at us, "Maybe we can find a puddle for you to splash in." His comment makes me laugh a bit before I join the others in finding a form of water.

A small river catches my eye and I can see it connects to a pond of sorts. I point it out to the rest of the group and Sokka steers Appa to land near it. The closer we got, the more excited I became. This would be a nice place to talk about my new discovery of how I can waterbend.

When Appa touches down, Aang grabs Katara's hand and he quickly airbends them down together. I scan over the packs, searching for any sign of where my cane should be. My head is feeling better, and I can move around easier than before. I want to try and walk without it, because depending on having my walking stick with me constantly is becoming a burden.

Sokka crawls over to me, and lightly pushes me to the side, signaling that he wants to take a look himself. He must have known where it was stored because he found it within a few seconds. I thank him and slide down Appa's tail.

The spot I picked is perfect. There's a huge waterfall that reflects the mid-day light, giving off the faint hues of a rainbow if you stand in the right spot. The light mist is cool on my skin, giving me more confidence on showing everyone about my ability. There's a few boulders lodged into the riverbed, providing miniature platforms to stand on.

It resembles a broken bridge, the earth severed into smaller chunks across the pond's width. They cause ripples to break through the water's steady flow, creating another set of waterfalls, although they are much weaker.

The ground around us is weathered away to form a natural barrier, keeping us hidden from unwanted attention. Great pine trees sprout out, creating a small forest that spreads their green needles over the barren land. The scent was beautiful, and I made a mental note to gather some of the needles later. I could use it for some tea, or even soap if I can get the materials.

Appa instantly launches himself into the pond, summoning up a wave that almost washes over us. Momo dries himself off, since he's perched on one of the rocks. Aang and Katara's smiles are practically taking over the faces, and Sokka looks a bit surprised too. I could just drop everything and jump in the water, finally being able to wash off from our trip to the Fire Nation.
