[Nomcebo]

I was exhausted the minute I arrived at home
" I'll go to bed see you in the morning "
I raised my eyebrow looking at this crazy guy next to, he passed me by and dragged his tall body to my bedroom

"He is sleeping over again? Come on Cebo why do you like complicating my life?"
I rolled my eyes this girl can talk, ask me why I'm still her roommate ooh because I used to work with her back in Durban, so ngumkhaya wakhe in this xhosa dominated province
" you know he only has eyes for you "
She laughs shaking her non-existence ass
Her: he cheated on me you know I can't  go back there but you making it difficult for me bringing him here all the time"
Me: Portia why you making your problems mine...you a grown-ass woman start saying no to him"
She rolls her eyes and walks away,  you know I'm caught up between a cliff and a very hard place being caught in between Mangalisa and Portia they have been doing this back and forth for years now, in fact, I'm tired of being their mediator,

I walked to my bedroom and Mangalisa was sleeping across my bed God this boy, I took another cover from the closet and place it on my side of the bed 
This is just normal for us we practically started sleeping in one bed from the time we were in varsity and NO we don't have a romantic relationship its more like brother and sister or crazy enough more like his my person and I'm his person. 

I took off the pendant from my neck, wristwatch and placed it on the side drawer along with my cell phone I took my towel and sleepwear and walk out to the bathroom, a few minutes later,
I jumped out of the shower even more tired but hungry like crazy, I put on my rompa pyjama and when I was zipping it up I noticed something dangling on my neck

" what?" I jumped in shock,
I looked at my self in the mirror  it's glowing on my neck,
didn't I take this off ?...no man I did I remember I placed it on the side drawer with my phone and watch, I ran to the bedroom and I found my phone on the side drawer with my watch.

What going on?

Confusion is written all over my face, this has happened for the second time now, I feel like I'm going crazy or better yet paranoia,

"you the keeper now speak to it it will speak to you" the old lady voice whispered in my ear I froze and looked around my bedroom no one is here besides Sleeping Mangalisa

My memory jotted back  when I was in the ambulance with the old women,
Those are the same words she said when she gave me this pendant there is more to this than what meets the eye what did she mean when she said
" finally you came..."
" Nomcebo I don't have much time..."

She called me by my name how did she now my name took my jacket from the laundry basket I looked at it I was not wearing a name tag today... Sat on the edge of the bed and took off the pendent
What's going on? , who was she? why did she give me this?

I'm cracking my head out trying to figure out what she said to me but half of the things she said did not make sense she spoke in codes and riddles, what did she mean that
'it's here ...it has began '
What was she talking about, I have the most unsettling feeling about this whole thing why does it feel like meeting her was not a coincidence.

This does not make any sense to me now,
" hi"
I jumped in shock Mangalisa voice startled me
Me: don't do that "
Him: do what ?"
I stood up and breath out loud " never mind "
Him: you good? You look freaked out ?"
I looked at him and I was meet by his sleepy eyes

Me: ya I am, I'm making food you want some ?"
Him: Nah I'm good"
I was about to walk out but he called out my name
" Cebo ..."
I turn and looked at him
Him: are you sure you ok ?"
Me: I'm sure, get some sleep "
Nobody in this word gets me like he does he can see right through me but I decide to ignore him for now,
Me: Good night"
Him: night"
